NIce use of what you have. I grew up on the farm and farmed myself for many years so I've seen a lot of accidents. I cringed every time I saw your son step behind the tire as you backed up a bit. When I was young I watched a man beside me reach over to relax at the end of the row working on a potato harvester. He absent mindedly put his finger in a moving chain. It ripped the end of it off in a split second.

Nice video! I just bought this same saw a couple of days ago. It worked great for me. The 15ft claim I realized is that it assumes that you are 6ft tall and added to the 9ft tool length it gives you 15ft of reach off of the ground. I had to use a ladder to reach a lot of the limbs I need to cut. My only complaint is that the white plastic bar chain oil reservoir level indicator is useless. I can’t see anything through it. They should have made it clear. Other than that, it’s an awesome pole saw. The angled bar is a must!
@tractorstrailsandlivingfree13 күн бұрын
Thanks! I'm realizing some of things too. I've heard about the reservoir leaking oil. Not sure if that's true yet, but the other day I realized the reservoir was empty. So either it leaked in my truck bed or it uses a good amount of oil. So keep an eye on it for sure. I've also ran into a couple times where it didn't seem to cut to well at a reach. So the verdict is still out on it but it has been very useful for a couple of tasks I've been putting off due to lack of this type of tool.

I want to make sure I'm doing this right. So the screwdriver is only making contact with the shaft and is in the slot of the shaft? Because I'm using WD-40, had it soaking for about 15 minutes in WD-40 and it won't budge. I'm ready to take a multitool to it and cut it off😮💨

I think battery outdoor tools are job dependent. I have the Atlas pole saw and took down a very large flowering cherry tree on one charge. I have the Atlas hedger trimmer and it works great. "DON'T DO THIS!". You are well meaning but you are misleading people. If you simply turn the bolt by grabbing the roll pin, you can adjust the lower limit of the hitch (or deck). The nut is square because it is supposed to fit in between the brackets. You DON'T TURN THE NUT, you turn the threaded bolt. FYI you should replace the roll pin with the right size.

All that were left was 10;000. God said still to many, to take those that remain to drink from the river...... All those who drank directly from the river..... to sent hem Home-------------- that left 300.... ..... I'm doing this backwards. I watched part 2 first! I don't use my backhoe often, either. When I do, I have to relearn it. I didn't know the backhoe has a float. I think you did the fabric in part 2 correctly (I'm no expert). Wrap the tile and stone in the fabric. I think you'll need to re-do the walkway, too. Raise it up a few inches so the water doesn't pool. You'll still get some water there, even with the drainage. Great camera work, too!!!

I’m genuinely curious why you try to justify the JD430? The MF is 8 times the machine and will do everything the JD 430 does and a whole lot more. Ive been thinking about spending $6k on a 430 that’s for sale in my area and researching a lot and luckily I’ve seen enough forums and videos that warned me that I didn’t waste my money. I’ve been on a lot of JD forums and watched a lot of 430 videos and it seems everyone on the forums and the YTs all complain or show the same thing…. The design of the 430s provide ZERO traction for use in snow and a lot of owners say it’s just an extra big lawn mower and has no value beyond mowing the grass your little orange rider probably cuts better. I’m told by the jd crowd that other 300 and 400 series are where it’s at and some of the. Own 430s too…. I’m genuinely interested in your opinion and thank you for the videos you put up.
@tractorstrailsandlivingfree3 ай бұрын
That is a very fair question. Thank you. So I'm sure you've seen on this channel many videos where I have used the Massey because only it can do some of the tasks I need it for. There are a couple things that I do like using the 430 for. 1. Snow plowing and some dirt work. The angled plow just works better in my opinion than my loader bucket. In addition to that, I'm closer to the work in the 430 which allows me to finesse it where I can't even see level on my Massey bucket. 2. The 3 point hitch is just more accessible and ready to go whereas I'd have to uninstall and reinstall the backhoe to use the Massey"s. This because I only have room to store it with the backhoe installed. But you're right, the Massey is much more powerful all things considered. Good points!
@tractorstrailsandlivingfree3 ай бұрын
I also wanted to add something based on your post. I wouldn't pay 6k for a 430 with the following exceptions. If it had a few attachments and/or a factory cab already not including the mower deck. If it was something uniquely rare such as mint condition with super low hours. As you could see in my timelapse video with all the add-ons I did with mine, I believe my total cost was under 6k.
@D.Trider24 күн бұрын
@@tractorstrailsandlivingfree I paid $4000 for a minty 455 with the 3 pt hitch and 60in 7iron mow deck. There are good deals out there. The 430 in nice, but the foot pedals are much easier to use.

@@D.Trider I've always though the 455 was/is a great machine. The foot controlled transmission is ideal for sure but I will say that with practice the 430 hand controlled is a special kind of fun.
