Goddam, its a thing of beauty watching you play Bulwark. By far the most satisfying class IMO. I love setting up a Warrior for execution, then gun striking and dueling another one, and just leaving the other one executable and go "I'ma just save this for a lil' snack later" when you need the armor node

when we make use of the fact that the bulwark interacts so much with the parry mechanics of the game (intimidating aura is INSANE) to the point that he doesnt even "really" has to swing his sword, you do get a powerhouse of a class, now add the capacity to fix your mistakes in virtue of being the "invigorating icon" class and you have a repice for "how are you dying on command with this class?" like no other

Intimidating Aura is amazing, it's how I kill Carnifex very easily, it doesn't have any telegraphed attacks with an indicator. So all of its melee attacks you parry damage it big time. Intimidating aura is also very efficient when clearing trash. Definitely my favorite class, it's so damn powerful and survivability is the best.

John Wick literally has a fucking bulletproof 3-piece suit in the newest one and has evolved to the point of just lazily holding his blazer up over his head and shrugging off .45 rounds like they're nothing 😂 I'm not even exaggerating either

Funwise to fight hive tyrant: 1. Assault- if you are good you know why 2. Vanguard- you can punish 3rd wave of psychic attack by grappling on him before it lands you wont take dmg and have a time to land combo 3. Bulwark -

I'm guessing when you're right in close to the hive tyrant you don't have to worry about the green circles that spawn around the place? seems none spawned in the area where he was standing.

Tyrant gave me trouble for a while. Play him a few times in Average and get in his face to learn his moveset with less risk and frustration.

they rly need to change unparry able attack sound, sometimes in the clusterfuck fight or you dont see the attack coming that the same sound messes you up, 1v1 is no problem, but witgh multiple..., if you are not locked in its annoying sometimes

I see bulwark run I click … tank and smash! Do you always prefer plasma for interrupt or do you take volkite for certain missions? Would also love to see more Darkride runs

Plasma does more damage and gives back more contested health when charged, it's only problem is ammo efficiency

Yeah the Plasma Pistol is the best secondary weapon for Bulwark. Being able to take out Majoris quickly with a few charged shots gets you outta some nasty situations. No need to run into melee with a berzerked Tyranid Warrior with a Venom cannon and risk being blown away, just hit it with 3-4 charged shots and it'll be dead.

It all comes down to your play style with Bulwark. Personally I prefer the Power Sword over the Chainsword.

@@FirstTourGuardsman does this work on any class. My big vulnerability is that I start an melee attack just as I get a dodgeonly attack targeting me. Ie chaos marine aoe fire circle.

@@JKS_Crafting Initiating a parry with any class will cancel the melee attack, you can also switch to parry another warrior if there are two together doing heavy attacks on you.

What’s the trick to fighting the tyrant in melee range as a bulwark?

Dodge, parry, gunstrike and slash when ya have an opening. That and staying in melee, once you go far away from it, it'll start lunging and using its range attacks. Eliminating the spawns quickly is also very important. Don't waste grenades on the Hive Tyrant, save them to kill the Tyranids that spawn in. Especially if one of the Warriors that spawn in have a Venom cannon, they'll end your run very quickly.

Is power sword the best melee weapon? It seems to be the only one I can't seem yo figure out. Im assuming its a skill issue?

Chainsword is better, but power sword is VERY close and has the most mechanical depth of any melee weapon imo.

Power Sword is very good, but you gotta know how and when to weave between power and light stance. while also getting down animation cancelling so you aren't wide open to attacks. The Chainsword is good, but only because of the Kick, Shoulder Bash and Stomps. It's a much more straight forward weapon. Personally, I prefer the Power Sword on Bulwark. It looks amazing and is very fun to use. Being able to slice everything up with Power Rakes and Power Whirls.
