Back in the 80's I raced an FZ600 and my pit bike was the smallest street legal bike of the time a YSR 50 that did about 50 stock. Mine got upgraded with a pipe, carb/filter and gearing and then it did about 60-65 on 12 inch wheels. I would beat guys on 500's in the canyons going downhill of course, lol.

There's a guy Fast Lane D that has badass bikes that he can only ride in a straight line it seems. He and his crew all went to COTA and I felt I could have beat him on his S1000 with my 80's FZ600 on the track. Maybe not on the straights but, definitely in the turns.

@@stillshot2 I was racing an FZ600 in '87 and I will admit the first time on the track going wide open throttle at 130 in a turn and knee down at 105 in a different turn it was an eye opener. But, even back then my buddy had a Ninja 900 with a 1000 motor in it and I rode that bike at 155 and with absolutely no computer aids. In fact in over 45 years I've never owned a bike with any computer except for fuel injection.
