1000HP 2JZ Swapped Hyundai Genesis - Dyno Pull + Flaming 2-Step

It is not every day that you encounter a 1000hp 2JZ swapped Hyundai Genesis around, so when given the opportunity of filming this bad boy doing a dyno pull and scaring myself with the flaming 2-step, I jumped right on it.Having set a record a few years ago with its stock engine, this Genesis Coupe had a heart transplant in order to reach its new goal which is to become the absolute fastest Hyundai Genesis in the world.
To reach that goal there was only one engine considered for the swap, a fully built 2JZ-GTE with a big single turbo.And so after many months of surgery this Genesis was up and running with its new heart and was appropriately named "El Bisturí" which is Spanish for " The Scalpel".
This bad boy was built and tuned by Dyno Tuners in Canovanas Puerto Rico.

3 years later but whatever* the motor isn't the issue, he had to have done something wrong for a 2j to blow so quick, 1000hp or not. Those cast-iron bottom ends are supposed to hold up well

700whp seems to be the max safest for street use. 700whp with turbos and 1000whp with NOS seems smart.

Love these cars and i own a bk2 2.0t. But maaan... why is every high horsepower genny always just a fucking dyno queen!? I for years have searched youtube of car videos since 2013 looking for good clips of this car performing with that power and never is there a driveby video or races or nothing..... whenever it gets over 500 hp its all just dyno queens showing their numbers but not how fast the vehicle actually is. Literally 300whp and 400whp to 485 whp videos always exist on youtube. It's a MUCH better platform, the 3.8 lambda engine is not designed for boost besides does not have much aftermarket options. The 2jz is one of the better engines for boost ever designed

King The car is not mine, but I can get in contact with the mechanic/tuner to give you an idea of the price.The cost would pretty much be the engine+ swap since a 2jz can definitely handle 500whp with ease without any mods, maybe an upgraded turbo.
