1000HP Twin Turbo Mustang DESTROYS The 1/4 Mile

During a recent private track session I had the opportunity of filming this amazing 1000hp Twin Turbo S550 Mustang doing some impressive runs at the dragstrip. Finally getting into the 9's with a best run of 9.6 @ 150mph.

Its not impressive .I have friends in Montreal running just as fast with 740whp single supercharger in the same type of car.Go watch the runs @napierville dragway.

Absolutely, the Hellcat is a lot heavier.I filmed my friend's Charger Hellcat twice first with 695whp and then with 784whp.With 784whp the Charger was a full second slower than this Mustang.You can check both of those videos here in my channel.Thanks for watching!

It's all about weight and whether or not the car is street legal.A hardcore, completely stripped down car will always be faster,but at that point it wont be much fun on the street.

this stand isn't gutted and it has a street build so its puts down high 9 on the track and still be a great daily driver. those civics are no fun on the street and hard to be daily driven, and people always forget about Power to weight ratio. its basic science.

Im sure if it was a spooling Supra doing 9 second passes they would be all over it haha.A 10 second street car is something the majority of us car people aim for, let alone a 9 second one.A 9-10 second street car is always impressive, regardless of what car it is or whether or not people like them.

you do know you can easily tin can these cars and be the fastest mothertrucker on the block right? Just because its full weight right now dosent mean you cant reduce weight and go faster.... theres always room for improvement... this car alone is fast for trapping 150+ ..... tin can these things and it will easily go into the high 8s and trap anywhere around 160+.... now to me thats impressive... most 650hp+ cars trapping low 9s is weight reducted of some sort.... cant just expect a 1000hp car to run low 9s high 8s just because its a 1000hp ... gotta take into consideration that weight plays a major role in this.... still not a lot of mid 9sec cars roaming on the streets thou.... So dude takes a W no matter what yal ball of negative snowflakes say....

I had an 82' Mustang that through 10 years and countless money got me 10.20's. it was 2800 pounds, couldn't turn worth the crap, couldn't cruise above 65 mph, no A/C, no radio, incredibly fast and unreliable. I would take this car anyday over that junk! So all you keyboard warriors need to get a grip on reality.
