1000km Full Review of the Mercedes EQS SUV - 10,000 VIEWS!

This is the 2023 Model Year EQS SUV 450 4MATIC Release Edition. The exterior is a blend of understated elegance and aerodynamics, with sleek lines and a minimalist design. The EQS SUV is a substantial car, measuring 512.5 cm in the length and has a weight of 2800 kg.
It has 360 HP and a top speed of 210 km/h. 0-100 takes 5.72 sec (my test result). I tested the consumption to be 21.9kWh-22.2 kWh/100 km and the range is approx. 475-495 km in real life, helped by a massive 108.4 kWh battery.
Charging 10-80% takes 30 mins (my test result) and the charging curve is impressive with a peak of 205 kW. Inside the EQS luxury meets technology. The interior is a symphony of mostly premium materials, cutting-edge technology, and thoughtful design. But also with some rather cheap plastic parts.
The Hyperscreen is fantastic, simply the wowest of all wow-factors, seamlessly integrating an OLED central display, a digital instrument cluster, and a head-up display. It's an automotive work of art, offering an intuitive user experience that redefines the way we interact with our cars.
The EQS offers enormous space and comfortable seating for 5 with a 7-seat option. Cargo space is generous or even enormous, too, thanks to a well-thought-out design that doesn't compromise on practicality.
A great family car which comes with a hefty price tag of 192,000 CHF, as tested. The EQS SUV range starts at 138,600 CHF (in CH only four wheel drive models are available, other markets also have a cheaper version with rear wheel drive).

I, too, was surprised. The car had the Burmeister Surround Sound system as part of the AMG Business Line package. I know Burmeister from Porsche Panamera and the highend B & O Surround system from Audi S8 and they are far superior to the Mercedes sound system. Maybe the SUV shape just does not work so well in combination with these highend systems. My photographer and I always compare the systems and the best value for money is Tesla. The Tesla model Y standard system is better....

Really Nice, objective and easy to understand review of EQS SUV Features and that too within Swiss Traffic and Road system. Mileage of 500 Km looks decent for a big car like this in Summer time. Any thoughts/ Findings for Mileage during winter time ?

I haven't tested the EQS SUV in winter. I'd expect the consumption to increase by ~20%.

I think it is easily on par with an s class as the name implies. Your complaints about "fidly" seat storage, rear tunnel cover, and the usb c rear charging are really picky. The range, technology (even of the base model), and fit and finish are out of this world for the electric suv market, and even for the luxury traditional car market.

The S class is much superior in the details, Mercedes made too many small costsavings on the EQS. I am bothered by this but many customers may be indifferent about it. Even the Mercedes dealers talk about the cheap materials in the EQS and S-Class customers defect from buying EQS because of it.
