It’s crazy that the RSV4 is now prettier than the 2025 Ducati Panigale V4

That blue looks superb. However the Tuono does not look as good as the previous model that I have. Where is the bellypan? The fairing and screen are smaller thus giving you less wind protection. The wings do not look as nice as with just the fairing. Definitely a step back in terms of looks. 3hp extra on the Tuono will not be noticed.And why is not the Tuono available in that lovely blue?

It means you buy it from the app and don't have to go to the dealer to have it flashed. Then you own it.

Did the new RSV4 get a larger cockpit dimensions? That was a standing major complaint about the prior model.

Aprilia is to be commended for persisting with and updating their amazing 1 litre V4 halo platform in the face of ever changing emissions rules, the fact that their displacement renders them invalid for WSBK and that MotoGP is about to usher in 850cc powerplants. The new RSV4 looks fantastic. Do you have information about size and specifications compared to the most recent version?

Do you also think Aprilia's new "in-app purchases" model is ridiculous and sets a horrible precedent? Please write them feedback via their contact form (template below): Dear Aprilia Team, I'm reaching out to express my disappointment with the "in-app purchase" model for the new RSV4. Riders invest in premium bikes like Aprilia with the expectation of full, unrestricted access to its features from day one-not to unlock capabilities through additional payments. This approach feels more suited to software than to motorcycles, where the purchase should guarantee a complete, un-compromised experience. Moreover, this sets a concerning precedent. In a world overloaded with subscriptions and paywalls, it would be refreshing for Aprilia to offer riders complete control over their machines without added costs. Motorcycles are symbols of freedom, and this model undermines that spirit. I urge you to reconsider this strategy and preserve the integrity that has made Aprilia a respected brand among riders. Thank you, [Your Name] LET'S FIGHT THIS TOGETHER!

It is a smart plan for them. Makes manufacturing more cost-effective as well. It is like having a Tuono 660 and then simply paying to activate the IMU instead of having to buy it and then pay for installation.

I'd mention that the v3 Ohlins are out and used by the 2025 Ducati V4 but Aprilla chose to stick with v2 Ohlins for the 2025 RSV4. Why?
@bobcarter554820 күн бұрын
You did not mention that the new Tuono has no bellypan. If Aprilia is so focussed on Aero, how can removing this be a benefit? other than to reduce the added heat created from the power increase. They run so hot at the moment that encasing the engine will make it impossible as a road bike (it is almost that way now). For me, as a Tuono rider, this is one of the most underwhelming set of updates I have ever seen. As usual, Aprilia give "token gestures" to the big bikes and focus on the twins. They could not make it more clear what they want us to buy. So sad to see the lack of investment from MotoGP passing to the road. Worrying times.

@@fyorbane Hi, I am genuinely interested. Do you have the original exhaust or aftermarket can with upmap. There is a huge difference especially if you have an aftermarket with Akra or Gabro map. My 2022 had the OE can and if I stopped at all, anywhere, it would be at 110 centigrade in around 30 seconds. Ran very hot always and always around 5 to 10 degrees hotter than riding buddies with upmaps.

@@affordsled Do you need that? Keyless is another thing to break, doesn't add much value, it's easier to steal the bike and the key is bigger. More Power: Do you really need SBK power levels for a road bike that may be used on track from time to time? It already has more than enough Better breaking systems, better ABS, better IMU integration and parameters, better suspension, better fuel consumption, etc. Those are things that add real value to consumers. Adding things just because you can doesn't mean you should. In fact, it's a really bad practice, it creates more expensive products with little benefits and most of the times, with less reliability or more maintenance
