Beautiful. Love the canal scenes and sounds of birds chirping and the narrowboat's engine. It's good to see pristine nature still so well preserved in your part of the world. And yes, having any music playing in the background would have been a sacrilege under the circumstances.

Brilliant non-vlog, thank you so much. Had to chuckle, reminded me of long ago canal holidays, sat here watching life drift slowly by when my tablet announced that it would rain in 10 minutes. Now that's realism.

Our very first 'real' narrowboat holiday started at Preston Brook and took us past Northwich then down the Middlewich Branch where we turned left onto the 'Shroppie' and went as far as Nantwich before we turned back and did the reverse. Great memories and some amazing countryside. Loved the black and white timbered buildings in the towns. The Salt Museum is well worth a visit for all the crew, young and old. Thanks for bringing it all back :)

I loved this not a vlog. I agree, no music needed. I was tempted to turn the sound all the way down and run this on a loop like a moving wallpaper on my screen. Lovely, just lovely. You were quite wrong when you said in your comment that there was no music. I heard the deep rhythm of your engine, the song of many birds, and the sound of a small waterfall as your ship's bow parting the water. You could not have chosen better. I can see why you chose this life, even if it is sometimes difficult, there is a great deal of peace.
