I have been to Google Bangalore office 3 times. And the food they have is huge by God. The varities are more from non veg to veg, desert to drinks and a lot more. I really want to thanks Google for providing some platforms for students so that I got the opportunity see inside office of Google Bangalore back in 2017 to 2018. I had read average profit per employee of google if was about 1.5 million dollar so 10 crore+ profit per annum from an employee then google has not problem in providing free food and stuff worth say 25 50 lac in upper limit they are still profitable.

Best projects: For starters, you can make a website | android app | ios app | hybrid app. Make sure whatever you do, you have in-depth knowledge of how you did it. Make sure you can present/discuss that project in technical depths with anybody. The project itself won't matter much for freshers but the in-depth knowledge will matter a lot.

i heard if anything happens to a googler (God forbid), then their spouse will get half the salary made by the googler for a full 10 years. Maybe thats given by insurance, but since premium is paid of the employer, it counts as perk. Since pay at Google is as per your words much more generous than other big companies, this half salary is still good enough to sustain for the spouse (if the spouse is not working).

Its only important for MICROSOFT. Microsoft does ask you questions on Semaphores, Deadlocks, Producer-Consumer problem, Reader-write problem, mutexes. All other companies, generally don't.

Lol, never thought my current employer does the same as Google does or even better than Google in employee heath care. Actually, the food part which was mentioned is as per the Indian Labor law for product based companies (Tech companies do fall under product category but not IT services) so a tech product company have to server food to employees on premises. Every product company offers Diwali gift to employees, and every quarter some budget is allocated for a team outing or freebies like (T-shirt, jacket etc..) which really helps companies to save on tax. So basically whatever he mentioned is in-line to any tech product based company you join in India. However, the money allocated may vary like 1K $ for home setup during work from home. My current employer offered me 550$. Also, my current employer does better at health care. I can reimburse up to 2 lacs per year per person in my family for OPD (Heath insurance is separate). Like if I buy medicine for even normal fever I can get 90% refund from my employer, One time full body health checkup per family member once in 3 years and every year for me. 8K refund on Gym, up to 20K per child education refund, refund on internet up to 4k per month etc... list goes on.

For freshers, Google kickstart is a nice option. Other option is to ask for referral if you have some known person at Google. Not sure if I should dedicate full video on it. If I see more such requests, I will surely make a video.

Hey, want you mentioned about google photos which you recommend on your other video, just want to let you know that I have lost more than thousand photos, and it’s not a reliable app Scenario on Android I with Account 1: synced all my photos with google photos Google: asked me to delete all the photos to save space I: did delete all the photos from phone I Switched to account 2: since my account 1 had limited space. Then I switched to account 1: since auto sync was on it deleted all the photos in the google photo app and synced, with which all the photos which were there in account 1 is lost This was horrible, I hope you know something of this sort of bug or bad design or you can do something to retrieve those pics from google. Google support is clueless, neither support on the matter related to google photos
