Hey.. 2 Important things you might want to mention. 1. It depends on what pipes you have and 2. Depends on elevation where you are at. Where I'm located it calls for 280 mains with T5 pipes

Julian Long your going off of stock carbs he clearly says keihin carbs

Totally different build, for one you’re on stock carbs, these are keihin carburetors, but yes pipes can make a difference as well as elevation, but I say anywhere from sea level to 2000ft you can run the same jetting, no real need for adjustments, also if you’re jetted on the rich side then you don’t need to go fatter when the temperatures drop, you can leave it as is.

Shit mine has 35mm PWKs and its lean on 160 mains in the summertime. I run 165s in the summer and 170 to 175s in the winter. Your bike is way hotter than mine too. I would be doing a rebuild video if I were running 150s..lol

Does the humidity affect your jetting cause i had a ct pipe on my raptor and they recommended a 175 and 170 for 70 degrees low humidity but i dont live in southern cali so i used a 170 and 165... southeastern pa is warm and usually fairly humid in spring and summer

What area are u from I'm from Memphis tn I got a 472 super cub CPI outframe pipes also pwk 35s on gas what jetting would be OK for that set up it pulls fine on launch but sputters mid range to top end I'm guessing needle adjustment an maybe a main adjustment but not sure what to set it at..thanks

Crazy to me how my 421 jetting is no where close to others. Had it dyno tune I have keihin pwk33 and they ended up with 135 mains, 48 pilots. Most everyone else is 150-160 mains. Mine seems to run pretty good tho.

i have a 421 cheetah cub, with cool head, shearer sbif, 39 keihin pwks, stock bore stock stroke, im trying to figure out my jetting! im 185 above sea level, i currently have a 168 on the main and a 60 pilot but its not rt

Take it out into the pasture on the highway put it in 5th gear about 25 miles an hour and floor it run it to redline tell me what it does

where are you from ? my builder sent my cub back with 162 mains. he told me the cylinders were lean with those mains and i would need to be running 170 mains to "ride around" with. ive left the 162s in for the last few weeks and havent gotten my coolant temp past 160. im in houston tx. what are ur thougthts? i also had ab jets in my carbs. he thought they were fake cause of it and said he couldnt get it ruinning right without using real kehin jets

@@banshee100 mine hauls ass. i have a ported yz250 and have always wanted a banshee. i bought it a year ago and didn’t know a damn thing about them. kevin told me it was a knock off cub cylinder with an iron sleeve and the durations were all messed up. he ported it and fixed it. i just threw it in last weekend. i feel like it’s almost as fast as urs.
