@@uncareid5557 I Stack copper all day long. It's over 3 cents just in melt value, the wheaties are 5-6 cents sometimes a piece. Nickels also are well over there face value 👍 I think it's a great idea actually. It can't hurt, if you have the room to store them,why not? I think, over time, they will go up in value

@@JimmyLicari Sure Jimmy, it can't hurt. I give all my aluminum cans to a guy at my granddaughter's school. I have better things to do with my time than crush cans. When I was working in the trades I got lots of copper to scrap. If I were you I would dump all your pennies and buy silver. By the way, $100,000 in copper pennies will fill two bedrooms to your eyeballs and weigh over 25,000 pounds.

@@uncareid5557 that's actually what I do with all my scrap copper, aluminum, 5cent cans and such. I trade it all in for cash and buy silver with it. But copper cents I just feel like I should hang onto them because the value is going to go up switching to EV, solar panels and green energy. Once it starts to get crazy and alittle ridiculous I'll trade them in and get PMs for them

That's 4,557.2 ounces of silver on the table. I actually think that the gold to silver ratio will go back to the ratio it comes out of the ground which is about a 7 to 1 ratio. That's one of the reasons why I like silver so much more. You brought up some interesting points in this video that I've never thought about or heard. Great video, Rob!

@@sneaky_krait7271 7 to 1 is the ratio the two metals come out of the ground on average. One ounce of gold to 7 ounces of silver depending on the location of the mine. This number has been manipulated. Currently the ratio is at around 75 to 1 but in March 2020 it got as high as 125 to 1. Silver is used for industry and should be valued even closer to the price of gold because of that fact alone. I believe that they will end up valuing silver at less than 7 to 1 ratio once this financial situation/ war is completed.

I have a larger silver stack than that but it's pretty cool seeing it non the less. Every time I get it, I hide it and never look at it again. I'm waiting for the silver prices to go up before I start trading it for nice real estate. Hopefully silver goes way up at the same time real estate goes way down. If that happens than my silver just increased at least another 2X.

@@wrewstervideo Probably yes. It's got to be a safe exchange and done correctly so that it's a binding contract. I guess I'll cross that bridge when it happens. There are several ways to purchase property where it's safe and done correctly. I've purchased property with green cash, regular bank check and cashiers check, but have never done it with physical silver before. It's probably the same method as doing the deal with physical silver as it's done with green cash. I haven't had an issue with any of them if that's what your asking. I've heard that we might end up being able to purchase a million dollar property with a tube of one ounce silver rounds. If that's the case than I'll be purchasing a lot of real estate.

What if they just replace it like happened to platinum when it got expensive? That will happen in many industries if silver ever went to high. Then just like platinum the price would tank. Something to consider.

I think the ratio shows how undervalued silver is.... If silver is not monetized the same way as gold because of its weight, that means its cheaper per ounce than it should be because it leads to even less monetization of silver. To me the weight factor is a positive because really it should pay off long term, you want more weight to sell off when the time is right.

This is exactly why I liquidated half of my silver stack. I sold off most of my ASE's to cash in on there absurd prices last year. I have roughly 1000oz of Morgan and Peace dollars and about 600 in bullion left. Even that is unwieldy being coins. Been in gold only the past 2 years trying to hit 100oz.

What's up Rob..?! Loving your channel content... It's great that we see the difference in the silver to gold ratio as far as weight and storage is concerned.. However, could you discuss with us any potential 5x-10x jump in the spot silver price (Potential 200ozt) vs a 2x-3x jump in the gold spot price (Potential 5,000ozt) Therefore, potentially making silver more profitable in the short to midterm.. Profits which could then be converted into physical gold.. Not fiat.. Agree or disagree?

Buying gold or silver bars or rounds is not a smart move. Most people don’t know that rounds and bars are subject to income tax on any sale that results in a profit. It is either taxed as ordinary income or capital gains if held over a year. Also you can’t buy $100 worth of groceries with those large bars or those gold bars. However silver coins and gold coins are not taxable as they are currency. The IRS excludes about 10 countries silver and gold coins from tax. You can find the list buy google search.

Hmm... But some experts (Bix Weir) say that silver has been falsely repressed (think JP Morgan) and will quickly bounce up to match gold's price. So your silver there is actually worth 8.1 million. I wouldn't mind finding a trunk with good wheels to lug that around!

The historical gold to silver ratio is 17-1. Today it's 80-1 Yes mining has become more automated but i don't understand how a ration goes up 4x especially when the silver supply is being used up. The silver supply is used so much in electronics due to being the best conductor of electricity. Many people think silvers price is suppressed. I remember reading a few years ago how jP Morgan was heavily involved in buying up silver and suppressing the price. They had a whistle blower who was supposed to testify and on his way to the hearing had a car "accident" So though it's a rational thought to think silvers price will definitely go up over day...I'm not holding my breath.

The price of silver is kept artificially low. if its a 7 to 1 ratio as it comes out of the ground, then would not 7 troy ounces of silver equal 1 troy ounce of gold? I've been collecting silver for many years and haven't sold, also collected gold as well. both are actually kept low, but as economies blow up, the true value will eventually show out.

Yes but you did not say that to get all that 4600 oz of silver in your hand you have equated that with paying spot price which is obviously unrealistic. People have to buy their product paying premiums from dealers so in this kind of environment it's another 20 25% more to get that into your hand per ounce so this pile is a little erroneous because there's no premium included in the volume that you have on that table
