I’m an American and I’ve driven at these speeds many times on the Autobahn. It is so relaxing and much safer than any speed on our U.S. highways. Germans drive with a much higher level of attentiveness and respect for their laws and fellow drivers. Note to other U.S. drivers: if YOU are in the LEFT lane, GTFO!!!

When there's no speed limit, it's obvious people are more focused. This has nothing to do with attentiveness or respect for laws and fellow drivers. When other people don't brake any law (like a speedlimit), it's also obvious no one gets annoyed...

Jeah but to be honest this is not the way to drive - its very tiring - when someone makes a mistake you are really toast - fuel consumption is over the roof - car needs more maintnance - engine wont last that long - high oil consumption in that rpm range - also you need the best tires available to have enough grip in those high speed curves. Some people go cheap there and have fatal crashes - higher break usage The only time adavantage is that you are faster at your destination by not even half an hour compared to constant 130 gps. But as I said befoere the time you save you will have to spend at the petrol station, at the tire shop to change tires, also brakes, refill oil more often, maybe some rapairs due to the higher strain on the engine... all that takes time so you will be almost on par with 130... Not to mention that all that alsos consumes money and this is also your time to earn it...

Everyone sticks to the rules and understands how to conduct themselves on a motorway. Cities such as Atlanta, which isn’t accustomed to snow, had the entire city basically shut down due to very little snow/ice mix. It was terrible 😂😂😂. States like Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, NY, Michigan, IL, Massachusetts, etc. All get icy conditions ( if you know a little geography you’d see many states are border to Canada). I learned to drive in the snow, so I’m pretty accustomed to it.

@@daniel_960_ Yeah, it's because in countries such as Spain or France highways are much more expensive and there's a lot of free auxiliary roads that go along highways (often two lanes in one direction), so the traffic is split between those who are in a hurry and don't mind to spend money on tolls and those who want to travel for free. In Germany traffic relies mainly on highways, because they're free for cars up to 7,5 tonnes and fairly cheap for trucks.

You guys need to experience this. It's actually quite amazing and strangely enough, there is so little stress on the driver as you can go in any rhythm you desire. You don't even have to do 155/250 or more to enjoy the no limit zones... Driving in Germany is always a pleasure. Sure, there is your regular stau and stuff, including many limits, but there is also this. Of my ~300km route, about 2/3 is like this. I never get tired of it.

Epic! My question is, can this car cruise at seventh speed at 62mph with some extra friends inside (aka extra weight) or the A/C on? What about these situation during an open road at this particular speed with minor incline - is it going to downswift?
