Disappointed that a bi character is still portrayed as having a male interest if in a relationship with a woman. And the trope in ep.10 felt like lip service to heteronormativity, not to mention the "peck" kisses. Such a shame, as many topics are well written in this show, and bradley and laura have a great connection.

I didn't mind Bradley having a male interest for me it's the toxic behaviours that I hope will not ultimately be ignored because the tropes make it look like they are 'destined'

Unfortunately I think they just wanted to wring out the gay shit this season so they could wrap up season 4 and the series ending with Bradley in a het relationship. They might pepper in some new love interest for Laura just to shut the queers up, but it will be sidelined and minimal compared to the hetero happily ever after with the main character. They never took this pair seriously, it truly was just a setup to add tension to the straight pairing. It’s unfortunate because if it weren’t for that one line from Bradley at the end of Ep. 10, this wouldn’t be part of the discussion. But they did the trope, full stop.

Beautiful. I cant believe we have to wait until 2025 for season 4 😢 I'm worried they'll push their relationship out of the show, but hopefully they will be smart and keep it because the show needs the diversity. Praying they don't mess up season 4 for Laura and Bradley...... there's always hope ❤

I feel like everything Bradley said at the end was about Laura. I even think she never thought Cory was in love with him because she never got to like him. Feeling like she may lose Laura was the only thing that made her realize she has to do the right thing. Also, "I'm going to miss you" felt like a goodbye, like "I'll miss the friend I thought we had" I think Bradley was able to forgive him only because he helped her cover up hal. I think there is a parallel of when Laura says "he lied to the FBI...that's love" between Bradley turning herself in to the FBI to tell the truth...for love. But maybe it's just me being delulu 😭😭😭

@@100percentshipper Right? I mean, it would be pretty crazy if it wasn't... because they would be throwing away overnight, a relationship that was being built since s2. And Bradley/Cory I've seen it as a friendship, it's just weird because we all know about Cory's feelings.

Yes I love this. I cannot wait for season 4 .... 2025?!?! Are they trying to torture us 😭 I am optimistic that Laura and Bradley will find their way back to one another in season 4..... I really hope this happens (we need at least one strong, sturdy lesbian relationship in this series)..... no break ups this time ok!!

I try to be very optimistic. I also love them very much and I truly believe that they fell in love from the first moment they saw each other. I don't see Bradley having a thing with Cory, because I see her in love and the way she acts when she's around Laura is totally different. I guess the only thing I'm hoping for, is that their interactions will be longer, see them being domestic and whatever problems come up along the way...the two of them know how to deal with them together. I think the writers should take full advantage of these two great actresses. @@laurenfinnerty7608

Can I share this in X? I agree with you wholeheartedly. I would choose Laura over and over again if I were Bradley. Bradley does become better after starting a r/s with Laura whereas Cory is someone she confides in. Cory is a business mogul. Everything is about spinning for a better rating, moral or not. Team Bradley and Laura all the way. But yes, we have no control over writers. We do have control over our own lives =)

I think Laura is deeply hurt that Bradley hadn’t told her about what happened in January. But she loves her deeply - just how nervous she was when they met for dinner. I totally see them together after Bradley serves her sentence or whatever. They are a perfect match.

Even though I didn´t need the recap, because I bingewatched it recently, I enjoyed how you told the story. Love your perspective, your observations are unique - especially the storyline with Bradley and Cory, I completely agree. I had trouble to formulate my feelings about the show myself, but I feel exactly what you described, so thank you very much. Good job :)

Yes I agree about season 2 wasn’t as strong as season one. Love Stella’s character in season 3 (well always )and she is so captivating my eyes love her haha. Would be great if Bradley and Laura end up together but it feels like they are leading to Cory and Bradley, which would suck. Great review !!!!! I didn’t even realise that the last episode was the finale, now I’m sad . Couple of the episodes towards the end I’m like yes, there it is, theres that tension and plot twists. I felt sorry for Alex when she realised what kinda man Paul Marks was. Thank you for this ❤

Yes! The last few eps re found the tension that made season 1 so electric. I wonder if they have perhaps found their footing this season so they can pull it through into future seasons.

Their kissing scenes were weird in season 3 The poor (Homophobic) lighting for the peck on the lips on the bed. And the reunion kiss where they strangely just smush their lips together 😏 But peep how Alex and the fella from Mad Men kiss & you’ll immediately note the difference It’s so bothersome bc I like them as a couple - They have nice chemistry And they deserve to be great!

I'm still completely gobsmacked to see these three incredibly powerful and talented actresses I don't have Apple TV so I haven't been able to watch the entire series just the eclipse of Bradley and Laura that appear on KZbin that being said I thoroughly enjoy their story and I'm glad to see that it continues. I hope to see more Clips later and maybe at some point I'll be able to subscribe to Apple TV and watch the entire series all the way through. But thanks for this review. It's good news all around.

I was waiting for this video to be honest :D I totally agree with you about the seasons dynamics. I was also sensing bradley-alex gay love but i was also ok with what was giving to us. bradley-alex dynamic is really one of the best in the show. it was such a shame that in 2. and 3. seasons we didn't see it that much. and the episodes like end of the 3. season is captivating, i would like to see episodes like this more often. 1. season was mostly like this. but i totally agree with you, 3. season is not like 1. season but it's better than 2. season. and to see stellas thriving in 3. season was one of the best! i really like to watch her moves in last season. Btw it is such a delight to watch julianna margulies as a lesbian. it kinda suits her. since the good wife i didn't see her in the other tv series. and apparently i forgot how she can be ruthless to her partners. her acting is really something else :D i think bradley's character is really well written. she is someone who is coming from conservative and complex family and she just realise that she is bisexual. it takes time to process and be open to the family members. I know it very well from my experience. I think in the second season this story kept me watching, i could relate myself to bradleys realising her sexuality story. bradley was kind of lucky because she never had to face with her parents. maybe her brother was causing enough problem but still, facing with the parents about this could be devastating. anyway, this is not the main goal in the show, but the show have been coping this issue very well so far. thank you for your video, it is brilliant as always :)

Julianna Margulies just did a podcast stating that there wasn't meant to be a season 4. So I think it is safe to say that they didn’t want the show to end with Laura and Bradley as a couple. They won't be going down that road again next season, it will be Bradley and Cory.

Agreed, Cory/Bradley looked like endgame ever since season 1 and Laura imho feels like the better choice and partner for Bradley. Positive surprise they brought them back together at all after their breakup in/post season 2 but to have them reunited for like 2 episodes and largely off-screen was just plain mean. Bringing them back together for a third time on season 3 would feel like a cheap repeat and Laura’s final statement indeed seemed… final. Best case scenario for me: give Laura her own storyline and someone who appreciates her and isn’t such a mess. What really stings is that and how they just glossed over this toxicity of Cory outing them and Bradley being fine with it. Horrible!

At this point for sure it looks like that but as I was making this vid I started to question how certain the Cory and Bradley pairing was. I thought the way Laura reacted to hearing Bradley had resigned when Alex went over felt... Like a possible opening? I think it would require some big shifts for both women to find their way back to each other but not impossible... I guess I live in hope.

I don´t think they´ll do that. Reese Witherspoon is producer and they already made her character Bradley Jackson bi in season 2, it would be foolish to go back. She may not be with Laura (don´t think so), but I don´t think she will end up with Cory, they are not right for each other, even though a lot of fans want that. So maybe another lesbian will appear :)

I don't mind Laura's character, but found her quite patronising and judgemental towards Bradley. Rightly or wrongly, I think the writers have been setting up Bradley and Cory since the beginning. I love Cory's complexity as a character, but I'm not sure he'd make a good partner for Bradley. I'd like to see that relationship explored though and I think it will be next season. However, I think the most wholesome and important relationship in the whole show is between Bradley and Alex. I'm not sure if they're meant to be more than friends or just sisters/bbfs, but think it would take the show back to its roots if that relationship was explored in a different light. If Alex needs a 'partner' them Bradley is her girl 🙃💛
