Thanks for the video! Just bought a 2017 X3, what a car!! The past owner took very good care of it! My first high end car and so I’m totally excited that I got a great deal on it. Lots of new features to learn. Since I’m a visual person, your video will save me time on reading the manual!😁

Just purchased a 2016 X3 with the 300 hp inline 6. Fast with refined luxury. You should buy a used bmw certified machine.let someone else take the huge initial depreciation. Sounds like you will own one soon, you wont regret it.

That’s just what I did. On my second X3. Both were used and are great deals.

I own an X3 and it really is a luxurious ride, fun to drive and just generally satisfying. The autohold feature is really useful for operating on city streets that are not flat .....in traffic the vehicle will not roll if your foot comes off the brake pedal. The sliding cargo hooks are used with the cargo net provided. You also missed the hill descend button that you can use to automatically set the speed at which the vehicle negotiates hills especially on gravel or snow.

You can always tell the size of the tires by reading the tire's sidewall.

Great review !! I own one of these and the only think I want to correct you on is the hatch , the first button closes the hatch without locking the doors and the second button closes the hatch and locks the doors .

Thanks for the kind words! And for catching my mistake. I only get a day or so with each rental, so I never really become an expert. I appreciate you taking the time to let me know. Hopefully, I'll get another one of these soon and I can correct my error. Drive safe! ✌️

Nice review. Had a similar reaction when I got one as a loaner from my dealer (had an older BMW). Was surprised how much I like it. You're right about all the little quality details and design touches. Stuck in my mind and 5 months later, I just pulled the trigger on buying one. Given that the new model is out now, you can score quite a deal on the older model. Agree, the shifter is weird for the first few days, but then it actually becomes second nature and traditional shifters seem kinda clunky in comparison. The lock button the rear hatch actually closes the hatch and locks the car by the way.

Thanks for the kind words. And "I just pulled the trigger on buying one"...?!?! Nice! I have no doubt you got a great deal. I actually bought a Kia Sedona (minivan) earlier this year in the same way. We saved a TON by buying the previous year's model. As for the lock button on the rear hatch, yeah, that was one of the things I figured out AFTER I posted the video. There's a bunch of stuff like that usually. If only I had a few more days with these cars I might be able to get all the details right. Anyway, enjoy your new ride!

You would like that CD player when you code it to do video in motion. Then your kids can watch a movie while on a road trip. Most important feature for me :)
@100RentalCars5 жыл бұрын
Wow! Is that hard to do? We have a CD player in the minivan and THAT would be amazing for long road trips.
@bentol8885 жыл бұрын
@@100RentalCars There is an aftermarket app called Bimmercode that lets you customize almost every aspect of the car. All the way from changing the display that greets you on the dashboard to turning off seat belt chimes, etc. I didnt code too much... just those and of course the Video thing. You just plug it in, open the app and choose your settings. I enjoy your car reviews. Its refreshing to see somebody review everyday cars that real people can afford. Keep it up!

Have you been so impressed that you actually forgot about the blind spot detection?;) What a nice car, and it's not even an X5, not to mention X7
@100RentalCars6 жыл бұрын
Did I miss it? Uggg. Dude, there were so many features on this car it was hard to cover them all. Sorry 'bout that. Hopefully, I get a chance to rent this one again. Although BMWs are pretty rare where I rent. If I do get another one, I promise I'll make blind spot detection a HUGE part of the video. Cheers!
@kamilnowak6236 жыл бұрын
Haha, don't bother, that was just my stupid joke, sorry:) Seriously though, I really hope that you'll find time and willingness to make more of these tests after you complete 100

Thanks man, I think I will keep going. Although making these is a lot more work than I anticipated, so I might slow down a bit after 100. Anyway, thanks for the encouragement! It helps.

+Shabbir Naqvi Good idea. I've looked into it and it's not that expensive; however, most of my rentals are through work. I'm not sure they'd approve of me renting a Ferrari. But maybe I can do something special for reviews number 75 and 100 (I recently god a BMW X3 for #50). I was kinda hoping to try out the Tesla Model S and Model 3.
