Love this EP as a song writer ,she's a musical genius and as a singer she has become world class ,.the size of her vocal toolbox is huge ,she is often compared to singers who can't come close to producing the emotion she's capable of evoking ,many singers can raise the hair on your arm ,but she can just as easily make people cry, just a opinion ,love your reaction to this Ep,there are no skip-over songs on it and that's a great group of AJ supporters you have assembled

I love your lyric interpretation. From hints that AJ has said and others who know her, yes this is her knowingly taking all the blame in “All my Fault” but not all the grief for her broken relationship with her father when she and family moved to LA and he didn’t come. I have no personal knowledge.

Thank You, A-Aron. Awesome. I agree in that there is now a new genre, the Angelina genre. It is my opinion, and sincere belief that it will be often imitated but never duplicated. If an artist tries to cover her, there is a great chance of failure. She is a one-of-a-kind Vocalist. We will never experience this talent again in our lifetime. Maybe never! Thanks again.

The industry needs to see a growing demand for her works. I’ve used Apple Music to buy her songs and albums. Let’s all show AJ how much we all support her journey. ❤️❤️❤️❤️👣 A pleasure as always, Aron. I know that people there said she was 17 while recording this, but if you recall, Toby spoke about working with Angelina when she was 16 on songs that he wanted to be on this EP. It was released when she was 17, but as I understand it, the actual recording was at least partly and possibly completely done at 16. This EP would be a remarkable accomplishment for someone in their 20s, so it may just be hair splitting, but I think she was 16. One year makes a much bigger difference at this age than it does for most of us. 1 or two months when I was a teen is what a year or two seems like for me now at 65. Just think of the vast improvement in Angelina's singing prowess just over the course of Norway's Got Talent starting with Gloomy Sunday and ending with Summertime. She is still growing, experimenting, and changing rapidly. I wish you had included Our Time here as it was released shortly after this as a single and no telling how long before you get to it. It has some of the same musical style as Old Enough, but if anything is even further from her past performances. Also released around this time was the EP Driving Home For Christmas, which is one of my favorite Angelina groups of songs. In a way, I wish you had taken these songs individually as with previous ones because each one deserves as much explanation and evaluation as any of her other works. Even so, it was well done, Aron. Hopefully, we will meet again at another Angelina concert. One here in Texas would be great!🙂

@Pyanfar Yes she was working on the EP in 2022 when she was 16. Toby said that in February 2023 he heard from Angelina that none of the songs they worked on were on the EP so it’s safe to say that it was completed when she was 16. Possibly a month of age 17.

Great reaction sir! Hope you fellow Angels enjoyed the Concert! Its an experience you will never forget. Ive been to hundreds of concerts in my 57 years! In 2022 i was at a Green Day Concert with two of my Sons in London at the London Stadium. There was a fantastic Atmosphere at that concert, 75,000 fans, i ended up with a broken rib dancing at my age haha. Anyway Green Day where great and a good time was had by all. 10 days later i was in Norway! Sandefjord, Kurbadhagen and my mind was literally blown. Forget the 75,000 fans in London! Meeting Fellow Angles was one of those experiences that will live in my heart forever. The vibe of Unity, Love and Respect was Other Worldly to say the least. A lot of us, Angels, had arranged to meet at an Ice Cream Parlour directly in front of the Venue! So close we could see the stage from where we sat!. I remember the rush of excitement when Angelina and band came to the stage for sound checks! After a mad rush closer to the fence by the Angels Angelina took time to acknowledge her fans with several waves of her hand! She's never to busy for her Angels. The concert itself was surreal! I as well as the rest of the Audience where in complete Awe of this incredible young girl on stage!. I really got the vibe that we where not there to see her! But She had come to see us! To say hi and show some Love for her Angels. I documented my visit to Norway with Photos of Norway! I think the main Issue is that not enough people heard it. With 100,000 songs released a day it’s very difficult, or virtually impossible for relatively unknown artists to get there music heard especially with virtually no promotion. And from what Toby said the other day, it’s pretty much the artists job these days to promote themselves and get a viral hit before the label will start promotion. It’s the way of the business these days.

@McDevittMike I think Toby Gads' explanation is the correct one. If Rob Christie can't squeeze any promotion money from Republic Records, then they are going to have to be convinced by something of hers really blowing up so that they see a profit verses an expense when they think of Angelina Jordan.

AJ & Rob Christie Angelina Jordan's rise to stardom has been a remarkable journey, and it seems that Rob Christie has played a pivotal role in her burgeoning career. As a two-time Grammy award-winning producer and record company executive, Christie's expertise in managing concerts and studio productions has provided a solid platform for Jordan's talents. His involvement in her performances, including the notable concerts in Las Vegas and the Alex Theater in Glendale, CA, has likely contributed to the polished and professional quality that fans have come to expect from Jordan's shows. With such a strong team behind her, Angelina Jordan's path to becoming a superstar appears to be well-charted, promising more enchanting performances in the future.

Blown in the wind. In a world where winds of change blow fierce and cold, A voice like Angelina's, tender yet bold, Could carry the ballad, across lands and seas, "Blown in the Wind," a plea for peace, a gentle tease. For in each note, a hope to quell the storm, To transform the battlefields, to reform, The hearts of many, so they may see, The peril that lies, not in lands, but in humanity. So let her voice rise, in a melody so grand, To remind us all, it's in our hands, To shape the future, to mend what's torn, In the mid-east conflict, where weary hearts are worn. For every verse sung, may it resonate true, That peace is not just a dream for the few, But a chorus to be joined, a harmonious blend, Where the answers, my friend, are truly blown in the wind.

(In the past we have always wondered where AJ get the inspiration to evoke such emotion when she sings without experiencing the real thing. We now know that the inspiration to pen "Bad Valentine", and the emotion to perform it is real, and felt deep within.) Angelina Jordan sitting in the back seat of the family car with her best friend willow. AJ shares a moment of vulnerability with her best friend, Willow. AJ: "I'm not going to get into details, but I would say I still do love him, but he isn't a part of my life anymore". The journey of an artist is often a reflection of their personal experiences, and Angelina Jordan's "Bad Valentine" is no exception. It's a poignant reminder that the most touching songs are born from genuine emotions and experiences. The song's narrative weaves through the complexities of love and loss, resonating with anyone who has ever had to find the courage to move on. It's in these moments of vulnerability that artists like Angelina connect deeply with their audience, sharing not just a melody, but a piece of their soul. kzbin.info7z6iD9RXw98

A personal feel I had listening to the EP. They gave you a" disordered order" of the songs but if you put them in the right sequence 1/2/3/4/5/6 She did them, you'll notice one aspect. I'll explain. We all know that one of Her many talents is Her Story Telling ability and in the order She sang them you'll see they're strictly connected one another. The whole album is a Story She's telling us. Her Story.👍👏🫶👋

The E.P. should of really been done in order, but never mind coz it all turned out well in the end.

It wasn't explained why James wanted you to change the order of the songs. Angelina pays attention to everything she releases, and she ordered the songs on the EP for a reason.

I myself think they should have been played in the same order the EP. Don’t see a need to change it.
