This is really amazing! It warms my heart to see Doug and the puppies warming up to Hunter despite his history. He was a victim used as a tool by his only family, but now he's found a new family that accepts him. I truly feel for him. 🥺

Als Da Vincie mit Hunter Malen und dann noch die Farben raus holte war das Gefühl so tolles Gefühl gewesen. Da Vincie ist nicht nur mein Favorit sondern sie ist der Grund das ich wieder angefangen haben zu malen 🧑‍🎨 und ich bin froh das sie sich wieder gefunden hat. Freu mich auf die nächsten Episoden

Whoever wrote this is amazing. They managed to keep the charm, humor, and style of the show and still have complex and unique relationships as well as giving the audience an emotional response if that makes sense

Somewhere in the middle of this chapter: And you throw your ears back laughing Like a little kid I think it's strange that you think I’m funny cause She never did I've been spending the last 6 months Thinking all love ever does Is break and burn and end But on a Wednesday on the busway I watched it begin again I just had to do this when that scene appeared. It reminded me so much of Taylor Swift's Begin Again. And oh my gosh, you seriously know how to blow someone’s mind away with your amazing comic. I can tell you work very hard on these videos and it is paying off. I like how you started with the previous page from the last chapter before we jump right into the new panels. While it is only for a brief moment, it is quite amazing seeing Hunter go full savage beast mode on the Dalmatians before he hears their voices; triggering a message to his brain that lets him know that they are not intruders. I can see that Hunter is trying his best to please his guest by showing them around his new…home. Deep down, however, he is not enjoying his current living. And we DEFINITELY don’t talk about “the room where it happens” that he slammed abruptly. I love how he is ready to serve the Dalmatians at whatever the cost might be to make up for what happened two weeks ago. Doug is eagerly pleased by Hunter and is probably signing some adoption papers behind Delilah’s back. Delilah on the other hand is not ready to make amends with Hunter. She remembers everything “All Too Well”, from the start of that day to its end. Every single moment comes back to haunt her like it wants to put all of her positivity on life in a vault, locked up forever. It is no wonder she picked a particular seat on the way back home. Doug tries to lighten the mood to make her have empathy but does not look like Delilah is budging. What I truly love at that moment is how Delilah tells her side of the story on that eventful night. She really does not want to but her emotions are starting to take over. It really shows just how traumatized she was. No amount of therapy will ever make that moment OK. Especially for her. I could imagine how awkward the first few minutes must have been for Dylan and Hunter. I mean what is the most accurate way to start a conversation with the person who tricked you into having the same interests as you, just so they can lure you into an inescapable container and be locked up for 6 months? That answer is the weather, which at this point, could work just about anywhere besides London. I think it is great that the first person Hunter is apologizing to is Dylan. It makes perfect sense as he was the first dog he ever talked to at the start of his evil schemes. And to see Dylan have a change of heart moments after really shows how quickly he is ready to make amends. Usually, forgiveness can take a while for it to happen. But I think after Dylan got an understanding of his current living conditions, he was ready for a do-over. I am sure Hunter and Dylan are going to have some fantastic adventures together in the future. I somewhat knew the moment they arrived at the house, Dizzy and Dee Dee would be the first to jump out the doggy door. Even before Dylan’s change of heart for Hunter, they were always the most excited out of everyone in the family whenever Hunter is brought up. But of course, the rest of the family is going to have mixed emotions. Dawkins is another pup who is already on the forgiveness train and I love the way he tries to interact with Hunter. I can only imagine how distorted and warped Princess Positron sounded when he pulled the trigger. I am assuming that DJ is working on fixing her voice with his sound engineering techniques or something. And that smile Hunter made when holding Positron shows that he finally did a good for someone, or at least, some pup. And as a bonus, he received some “love”. Of course, this is all short-lived when the argument breaks out over finding Hunter a place to stay. I also love how Dolly is doing the most for taking a stand in supporting Hunter. She really is a great dog with a lot of hidden talents that can range from skateboarding to providing support. Finally, I find it so heartwarming the way Da Vinci feels for Hunter. I had a feeling that she was only frightened when she found him on the floor, possibly assuming he passed out. Out of all of the members of the family that forgive him, Da Vinci can feel Hunter’s pain from an empathetic point of view. She can understand what Hunter was going through and they can express their feelings to one another. I also love how Da Vinci takes it one more step forward by getting Hunter to do a little art. It is a little funny to see Hunter use the brush only to draw a blob and snap the brush in half once he s completed because I too think there is a lot that is worth unpacking. I cannot say much due to what is already on other platforms but I know good and well that what will happen next with those two is going to be very…colorful.

It actually makes sense that Delilah would be the most adverse to trusting Hunter. Being the matriarch of the Dalmatian family and a direct descendant of Pongo and Perdita, she has the strongest blood ties to the original 101. This means she has the most bad blood towards Cruella out of the Dalmatian family, twice as much as Dylan and the rest of the pups she gave birth to. Despite Hunter being only an indirect descendant of Cruella and having turned on her after realizing her motives, he did unwittingly help his great aunt cause Delilah a lot of trauma; so it kinda makes sense that she's the slowest to forgive him between her, Doug, and any of their kids.

Secrets/Easter Eggs/Details: I apparently have more theories and even the secrets and small details were mostly turned into theories. I feel like the panel that reveals the humans Hunter made could possibly be his parents before the “incident” that happened to them. The reason I believed this is because, after everything that has happened in the series, Hunter probably cannot trust anyone except his parents; which ultimately sucks because they are no longer living. Seeing how he is going through a lot of anxiety, physiological dog moments, and depression. It would make some logical sense as to why he would design the humans to look like his parents to the best of his memory. I mean “no one else is the room where it happens” and I would rather not want to “be in the room where it happens” because that is not healthy at all. When Hunter mentioned the fine selection of artisanal tap water, it could possibly mean that the water system down in the basement is not the safest water to drink. The selection of that could be based on what time of day the tap water is the freshest. It could also mean that there are several sinks down below with each of them having a different taste in tap water. If you look closely at Delilah’s face at the bottom right of page 242, you can see a light black mark, indicating her rage against Hunter. Delilah’s flashback sequence is exactly like the flashback sequence both Dante and Deepak have in the “Dante’s Inferno” episode. This must be a sequence every dog has when they are having an intense flashback. Following up on the flashback, I noticed a small creative liberty you took as you made Cruella say Hunter’s name after ‘nice work’. She only said ‘nice work’ in the series finale, but having her say Hunter’s name adds a lot more emphasis on Delilah’s current standpoint in this comic and chapter. This added word could be turned into gossip and folklore. The entire Dalmatian family has been traumatized by Cruella ever since the 1960s. Stories have been passed down for so long that they probably have some details that are a bit inaccurate, creating something called “Folklore”. And yes, I did just drop a Taylor Swift joke because I could. In the middle of page 244, there is a clear line of symmetry between Doug and Dolly when they are talking over Delilah. It kind of makes the two panels act as one single panel in 3D. Dolly has once again said ‘Mom’ but this time, it was right in front of Delilah. I am quite curious to know how Delilah felt but she was already in the process of explaining her tragic backstory to everyone on the bus. I also noticed the details you put into Delilah’s backstory like the lines under her eyes to the left and her head-turning on the right. It really captures the emotions of this traumatic story we have all seen. The weather conversation seems to never go out of style. What makes this detail even more special is the fact that we already have seen Alfred mention it back in an earlier chapter. It clearly knows how to get the job done as it can break any ice between two people or a person and a dog. When Dylan mentioned the transit of Venus, there is a little bit of inaccuracy. The last time the transit of Venus occurred was back in 2012 on the 5th and 6th of June. The next transit will not commence until Saturday, December 11, 2117. Now, Dylan could have just brought it up as a way to continue his conversation with Hunter. He did say that he sort of missed it which could imply that he actually does know when the transit happened and is just messing with Hunter. Then again, this is a cartoon universe and anything could happen that does not match with the world we live in. When Hunter mentions how he does not know much about space, I started to wonder if he ever received a proper education when he was taken in by Cruella. Getting an education to me is very important and I feel like Hunter only learned what Cruella wanted him to learn. If that theory is true, then it would add a lot more to his character. Dylan mentions that he has a complete history on the planet Mars. Real fans of the series would know that the complete history of Mars comes IN 72 VOLUMES!! Though I would be amazed to see Hunter complete the entire series with Dylan. Hunter almost brought up his last name “De Vil” and leaves it out when reintroducing himself to Dylan. This could potentially mean that somewhere near the end of the comic, Hunter may change his name to something other than De Vil. He could have a last name that his original family went by before they passed away. He could go by “Hunter Dalmatian” or “Hunter De Angelle”, as in “Hunter the Angel”. But our best bet is to just wait and keep reading to find out. Dizzy and Dee Dee’s tugging on Hunter resembles the very first episode of the series when they were tugging on Mr. Fuzzy Face to come over to their house. Everyone has a different feeling towards Hunter and the Dimitri Trio look like they want to bite his legs off. It is revealed that Hunter has very little experience with sewing and possibly with clothes in general. I don’t; understand why Cruella did not teach him how to sew or even design clothes so he could make his own. I guess she only wanted him exposed to a certain amount of activities while under her care. If Positron’s voice box still sounds that bad, this toy was probably made before Dawkins was even born. A majority of toys these days have push buttons that activate the voices that are on small computer chips. Princess Positron has a pull string, which could mean that she is a vintage toy and has been passed down within the family, or found at an antique store. If she is a vintage oy, I like to imagine that under the pile of clumps when Princess Positron was destroyed is her voice box with the record inside being badly damaged. Regardless, I am sure will be explained when there is an origin story in development. Dorothy’s face is another face that can be meme material for anything. I also love how her expression changes when Hunter goes upstairs. Her expression after Hunter heads upstairs. Hunter says his hashtag phrase for the first time in this comic when he enters Da Vinci’s room. Da Vinci also states her black and white catchphrase twice when interacting with Hunter. Da Vinci’s response to Hunter is like art. Let’s say you look at a painting. You get a general idea of what the painting is about. But if you closer, you find a little detail. That detail could change the entire way you look at a piece of art in any kind of medium. Hunter is that painting. He may look like he is a bad person, but if you take a closer look at the details, he is actually misunderstood and broken-hearted. There is a chance that Hunter could be looking at the painting of Da Vinci as a puppet hanging from the wall. It would explain why he starts to feel very down about himself after Da Vinci says ‘thank you’. When Da Vinci opens the cabinet of colorful paint, Hunter can be seen right behind her making a face that appears to be frightened or scared. It is a little cool detail as he has no idea what is about to happen next. I also love the music you used in this chapter. You really know how to pick the right songs for the right moments. I will say I felt a bit betrayed around 5:13 because the beat was about to drop and I get way too much anxiety when EDM tracks are paused or faded on the drop. This chapter in my opinion adds so many new colors into the story. Colors are like emotions and just like this chapter, there are a bunch of emotions being expressed within this chapter. I cannot wait to see how the rest of this section turns out in the form of a video. Hey maybe, we will see Hunter create some art. You know, something unexpected, something deep, yet something new. I am not expecting it to symmetrical or perfect but I know it will be beautiful, after all, it is his. SO what else can he do?
