Star Trek was a big part of the 90's. The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager all ran during the 90's along with the original 60's series being widely syndicated then. You could not turn on TV during the 90's without a Star Trek show being aired somewhere. The show Voyager was responsible for launching the Paramount Network UPN, which eventually became SpikeTV.

I have a question. How do so many people miss the 90s? I was born on January 10, 1980, and so I grew up in the 90s, and I always thought the 90s sucked. I think today's world is a lot better. There was no social media in the 90s, there was no Netflix and streaming services in the 90s, internet worked like crap in the 90s, there was no smart phones in the 90s, not many people had cell phones in the 90s, there was not many good movies in the 90s, and video games are a lot better today than they were in the 90s. Music today is also a lot better than it was in the 90s. I think today's world is a lot better than it was in the 1990s. I think the 1990s is very overrated.

The 1990's where fashion designers nabbed the every day style of the teenagers of the day. Kristen McNemany walking the catwalk with tats, shaved eyebrows, Doc Martens and flannels. The "style" we wore- because we didn't care! We shopped at Salvation Army, Goodwill, closet surfing friends ... fashion was not a priority...we needed all our money for beer, gas money and concert tickets. Still have the flannels, tats and Docs and never stopped wearing them. The 90's never ended for a small generation of people called Xer's. We are here and never will forget it...that feeling of that time. People born in the 90's did not experience the 90's like the people born in the 70's and 80's who were teenagers and young adults then and can remember it all. Just indescribable!

I am indeed from the 2090's, it's still pretty shitty. After Emperor Trump declared war on the EU and Great-Zar Putin, Berlin, Moscow, Paris and Cardiff (of all places...) were flooded with the Mountain-Pew (a futuristic WMD) and surrendered. The island of Guam is now a nuclear fascist empire which first claimed extra-solar planets as colonies. Denmark and Tibet combined their forces under General Sarah McLaughlin (her Rise to Power is a story of it's own) and defeated China after introducing YumYum-Noodles as their only kind of troop rations, which after 2 months lets people gain Hulk-like strength. Oh, and the moon is now Australian, since noone else wanted it.
