I’ve got an interesting fact I bet a lot of people don’t know. In the prologue, once you first go outside during the shootout with police, there’s a dead Bobcat security guard in the security booth who was presumably shot when Michael, Trevor, and Brad went in right before where the game begins. His name is Alex and he has his own GTA Wiki page and character model

I had the same feeling, but this is really common for iceberg videos. There's a reason most of the last ones aren't well known. Hell, "a wolf's howling in the distance in a game without wolves, what the could that be? A simple sound affect added without much thought? Noooo, a MYSTERY!". Bloody hell. But the rest is great. I'm sad that he didn't enter in much more detail about the infinity killer.

I think the reason why Rockstar removed the elementary school in GTA V is because of the Sandy Hook tragedy. It took place in 2012, and GTA V released in 2013, so I think they didn’t want to be caught up in some controversy surrounding that element in-game.

2 years is a stretch... look at other games that came out in 2022: Elden Ring, Stray, Dying Light 2 (just to name a few). GTA5 while it looks nice, still looks like a game that came out in 2013 that had graphical enhancements to the base game over the years. Comparing it to games that actually came out 2 years ago is ... simply not accurate.

Some honourable mentions are, the red signs in the desert and the pixelated monkey drawings, the rare horn on the omega space buggy. There are also a couple of random garage doors that open for no reason, and the blood windows, and the dev cube behind the door beside the mural. And a spiderweb underneath the platform. The path to nowhere always seemed to me to be part of a mystery and I had a theory that you just have to stand on the edge to be transported like in Mario 64. Red writing saying to come back after 100% and a red flag and a free dirt bike. I think the dirt bike and thinking a broken path is a jump literally driving people off from finishing the mystery. Also I feel like you should be able to do something special if you’re hanging out with all 3 characters together. And you have 100% and don’t skip the ride to the top while it’s storming at 3 am. I wish after 10 years they would just tell us if we got them all, or a hint at how to find the rest.

I've always thought it was weird that it was Franklin who solved the Leonora Johnson case instead of Michael. He's the movie guy, one of the movies he watches looks like it could be a mystery/crime thrillers with someone dying, and "reliving" a movie fantasy of an amateur dettective, it felt like he would be swept up in figuring out who killed a movie star he could have potentially admired in the past. Besides Franklin now living in the Vinewood Hills it didn't seem like much to connect the two.

That means that if Michael had that mission, he wouldn't be able to complete collecting the letters since he would be dead.

I think it's pretty clear that the Mount Chilliad mystery was never supposed to be solved. Although, I'd love it if they ended GTA 5s online life with a resolution. Apparently, R* want to have the map for GTA 6 online change and evolve over time, similar to games like Fortnite. So, either just before GTA 6 releases or as a final hurrah for GTA 5 online, they should put out a GTAO update that has a huge reveal for the mystery. Maybe the mountain explodes or erupts. Maybe UFOs fill the sky or maybe something else entirely. Whatever happened, they push the hype for GTA 6 even further, it would introduce everyone to the idea of an evolving GTA Online map and it would end the mystery.

The day that never comes is a glitch, no one acts "strangely" even the NPCs act like it's day out. Restarting the game fixes it. A ton of people have had this happen to them but since nothing spooky happens and it's just a visual bug no one reports it. Personally it happened to me a few years ago, the only thing that was weird was that it was night time even though my clock was saying it's day time...the night time NPCs despawn as well.

The Mount Chilliad Mystery was solved years ago. It was a hint for single player content that was eventually repurposed for GTA online once Rockstar saw how big online got.

I actually found that in the Agency missions within Online, when you are burning the weed factories with Franklin he states, "Hey this is like that shit that went down over in Flint County back in the day." The chart on mount chilliad is for people doing over I think 200 missions for the bunker to get supplies. When you've done that you need to go to mounth chilliad where an alien should appear. Something will happen. I never saw it myself, but a friend told me and the gift he got is a special back tattoo!

I have every inch of the map memorized and have for like 7 years now. I remember back in 2015 when buddies would hop in my car and just tell me a place on the map, no waypoint needed I’ll get you there if you can describe it half decent. There really isn’t anything new to see in this game and hasn’t been in a very very long time. Pair that with rockstar removing almost 200 cars from last gen users, constant bugs with no fixes in sight and the complete lack of care for their community, I’m honestly surprised rockstar still has any budget to make gta6

It's obvious that R* had big plans for GTA 5's story mode prior to the runaway success of GTA Online. Why else would they have crammed so much hidden content such as murder mysteries and additional strangers and freaks missions. A lot of the bonus content in story mode was intended to setup DLCs down the road. I think it is beyond tragic that R* abandoned story mode expansion in favor of GTA Online. The best way they can make up for that a terrible decision is to make the final update to GTA 5 a big story mode DLC. I'd rather see the game end that way than with another underwhelming and pointless online update.
