I can relate to quitting alcohol. Its one of the best decisions. Got depressed last year, started visiting the church for lunchtime prayers and made the best decision to stop drinking alcohol. Its been a year.

I can relate to her story - I also used to drink and in the morning hate it so much and regret it so much. I used to pour out alcohol in the sink vowing I will never drink again. Then I am back again after a few days or same evening 😅. But I used to pray so hard asking God to help me quit, He did answer my prayer. It’s been 9 months now since I drank any alcohol, the thought of drinking revolts me now. God is good and forever faithful🙏🏿

Thanks for the video, the key difference for me was zero withdrawal symptoms, physical or mental, not even within the first thirty days, after Steffon Barkload and what he suggested it's been 9 months now it's like it never was a problem, reading that last version goolging what he put up. Was a super relief I didn't need AA or meds either.

Theres something called a functioning alcoholic, there are many stages of alcoholism, many people are stuck in this stage and they always tend to think they are in control.

I don’t think alcoholism is “ I cannot go without a drink for a day” …I think it’s more of not knowing your limits such that when you start with one you either don’t stop till you black out or you don’t know when to stop to the point where it affects other areas in your life…like your personality changes when your drunk and it turns more negative, or you miss work or responsibilities etc..I think that’s where it’s an issue, but even an alcoholics can go a day without a drink

alcohol addiction is some what different. An addict can go even 6 months without the booze. But when they face an overwhelming situation or trauma or something like that, they rely on alcohol as the solution.
