1018 - HGUC Hy-Gogg Ray (Final Review)

Here's my completed build of the High-Grade 1/144 scale Hy-Gogg! As per the commissioner's request I've painted this up in the colors of a Metal Gear Ray!

I'm glad you decided to put the missile pods in the hollow space underneath the shoulder armor. It looks really nice and adds another layer of depth and complexity to the kit

That could be cool! The HG is pretty nice though and does everything you'd really want it to do. An MG would be cool for added detail and frame I suppose.

Hexagons are a common element in a bunch of Kojima game's mecha, so those decals look fantastic. Color scheme is close to Jehuty as well. Pretty fitting stuff since it's an amphibious mobile suit. Nice work Zack.

It's odd to see the color of the disposable hand-covers duplicated across the entire mobile suit, but I really like the lighter color of the bombs. It's good also to see modifications in coloring only, while maintaining a stock build. Thanks for posting!

I really like the camo. I don't think the spots are too dark at all they look perfect. Reminds me of some Russian fighter camo (I forgot the make maybe a Mig or Su).

The colors looks great for this type of model (i am not a fan a mate colors) the only thing that i would i add are more details white stickers like the one that describe parts of the suit or those that tell DANGER, for the rest you could have my money,

Is it better to TOP coat then panel line accent or the another way round?

Gloss clear, then panel line accent, then whatever clear you want the final finish to be.
