Not giving an eye for an eye like she said, but reciprocating in the way that others need... that’s love language. I love how Halsey speaks of the homeless community... I myself was homeless last year (2017) for 7 months because I am a lesbian, and I plan on marrying my soulmate. And no one was supportive of us (they still aren't) and that has caused a lot of issues for us. So many young people are abandoned and abused and misunderstood, and their lives are destroyed by the very people that they reach out to, respect and love. And it's a serious problem.
