Hey Chris. Great listen as always. Thank you. May I ask what broker do you use? I started off with HL but the fees are outrageous. Switched to T212 in 2021 but I want a second broker as I approach the 85k FSCS protection in the S&S ISA. Any suggestions I can check out would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Geoff

Thank you. To answer your question, I use HL. I don't tend to worry too much about the fees. With T212 you end up paying the same with the spreads I find. Way I see it, it's the cost of doing business. I only make 12 transactions a year so it doesn't cost me enough to worry about.

Thanks for the reply Chris. Sounds like we have different ways of investing. I like to DCA £100 or so into a selection of my holdings each month, which would produce crazy fees as a percentage on HL. I get it, if you're making fewer but larger transactions then the HL fees are a bit more easy to swallow. Thanks again. Geoff

ahh yes. at that rate I see why fees would be a more pressing issue. At £100 a time, with HL's £12 fees you'd be losing 12% per deal. T212 may well be the way forward in that case.

£2.20 a share for FEVR, don't be silly.

We'll see. Maybe they'll turn things around. Not in great shape right now. You have shares?

@@chrischillingworth No, not at all, I have won and lost on them though. I just can't see them falling that far ever, too much institutional support, and as others have stated they could be a nice addition for a bigger company.

You've misunderstood me then bud. Saying I would only pay £2.20 for these shares is not the same as I think these will go to £2.20. I'm not in the business of predicting the future like most other stock investors. I look at what i'd be prepared to pay vs what price is being offered right now. That's all.
