Hello again thanks once again for helping me in your last video about bridge rectifiers, I'd like to ask one question and it is a little bit off topic but what are you thoughts regarding lighting for coaches ?, I have one Bachmann Mark 2F coach and I'm looking at putting lighting into other coaches namely Oxford Rail & Hornby Mark 3's using some LED strips, do you think the light in the Bachmann coaches is to scale ? and should Mark 3 coaches being more modern have brighter lights inside especially with the tinted windows ??, keep the videos coming my friend !, cheers, Chris.

Hi Chris it is really about personal preference and how it will look on your layout. If you are worried about the brightness just experiment with extra resisters until you get the look you are looking for. If you are going for 100 percent accuracy then yes the older the coaches the worse the lighting would be i.e. dimmer, not even etc.

Hi. Is it possible for these to blow?. The biggest thing that concerns me with regard to these is that you can't see if the wires are touching inside the base of the lamp and I don't know if because of this these have blown because all three lamps are not working and I'm not reading anything on the multimeter. So do you know if it is at all possible to blow these LED's??, many thanks, Chris.

Hi Chris I am sure it is possible. But it may be the chip that has blown, these can be very senstive.

@@DonegalDadRail okay thanks I had noticed that one of the chips was extremely hot when in use so I think I'll contact dcc concepts, thanks again for replying.
