The Bachmann axles have a black coating if you take one wheel off then rub the black off with wet and dry sand paper

Wow, that is a lot of little detail work in a small area. Excellent work to get there! 👍

I find trying to melt the varnish off some of the copper wires attached to the lamp difficult it ends up going black and brittle and breaks off

Thanks for that. I’ll try joining the purple and yellow wires together and get rid of the Hall trigger. I just can’t get it working either

Yeah I really couldn't get it to work consistently with the trigger. Would love for someone to explain what it's really for and the best way to get it working!

Great idea but seems a lot of work involved when you could just fit a battery powered set up which involves less work and works just as well.

Hello! I have a question about the BR end-of-concept lamps from the 80s and 90s. Are the lights all flashing, or not? Did any of them have a continuous light and not flashing? The MK2 and MK3 lamps from Bardic? Thank you. Stéph. Bonjour! Merci. Stéph.

They're a nice product, if a litlle pricey, but they effect is great! I wonder how they're work with a stay alive to save on having to put two pickups on?
@stmichaelshill74215 жыл бұрын
Yeah - they aren't cheap! Perhaps your version could be your next kit! I think I might try how you did yours, I have a load of the non-operational EOT lights so it would be good to get them working!
@JamesBondsSkyline5 жыл бұрын
They work fine with a stay alive and with one set of pick ups :)

I had real trouble getting a constant flash. I know it wasn't the pickups as the coach lighting was fine. Ended up binning everything other than the lamp and hooking up to a fx decoder.

it's a nice idea but it's not very user friendly, there's far to much messing about - it's put me off buying them !!

I agree! They are very nice, but I think there are better products on the market now. Lots of battery operate ones that don't rely on getting power from the track.
