Oak is a very hard and heavy tree. Before sawing, I replaced the band saw and slowly advanced the blade. A high-pitched sound resounds like "Kin! Kin! Kin!" as if cutting metal. 凄い、赤樫ですね！ 水に、沈む赤樫！ 確か、比重が、1.3か1.4有ったと思いますけど！ 山車とか、御輿とかに、つかいますよね？ でも、帯鋸は、鉄も切りますから、無理矢理ヤらなければ、無理すると、帯鋸が、切れたり、硬さに負けて、真っ直ぐに切れなかったりしますよね。 腕の見せ所ですね！

楽しく拝見しています。いろんな木材のそれぞれの特色がみれて感心しました。ところで製材で出たおがくずはどのように処理されていますか。2次利用として堆肥として土壌改良剤として販売、または他業者に卸しているのでしょうか。土壌改良の肥料を探しています。

今回の記事は前の続きかと思っていました。樫の木は子供の頃のどんぐり拾いを思い出させます。中学の頃は木刀の材料と認識してましたが、皆さんご指摘の通り祭りの山車が樫の晴れ舞台ですねぇ　重い山車を支え硬い道をゆくあの車輪　中にはぶつけ合う祭りも、、、。偉い木とも言えましょう。お父さんの慎重な手つきに樫の硬さが見て取れます。
