Far cry 5 is one of the most subtle horror game I've played. Everything in Faith's region is freaky. Jacob seed literally brainwashed the player to kill Eli And the ending of being locked in a bunker with a twisted Cult leader. It made me uncomfortable at certain points and I love that a game was good enough to actually creep me out

Spoilers: In the ending, u find out that Joseph was right after all about the world ebding/the collapse as nuclear bombs rain from the sky and you trying to reach the safety of a bunker. Plus the ending is also heavily hinted through the radio as news reports in between songs. They're reporting that North Korea has stopped all outside communications and that the president is being evacuated, as well as the announcer urging anyone vacationing in Asian countries and the Middle East to return home and seek shelter. Also this ending is supposedly canon.

@Nick Gibson Blood Dragon is *not* canon. It takes place in 2007 in an alternate reality. If Blood Dragon was canon, FC3 and FC4 would not be, as they take place in a non-apocalyptic world only a few years later. @MatterWalrusWe know that Primal FC2, FC3, FC4, and FC5 all exist in the same universe. The Longinus in FC4 is from the fictional state from FC2 (he mentions he was baptized at Goka Falls, a place in FC2's map), Hurk and Willis Huntley are in FC3, FC4, and FC5. (Primal is the sketchiest though, the character "Urki" is supposed to be Hurk's ancient ancestor, not explicitly though). So other than FC1 which was explicitly left alone as it is originally Crytek's game, everything but Blood Dragon is in the same universe, although Primal is *only kinda*

Biggest problem for me was John's bunker before I'd upgraded my health. On standard max health if you get knocked down in a bunker there's nothing you can do to kill the attacker. After upgrading that the game got so much easier

I got it on my PlayStation and it’s super fun. I love the landscape and I only wish for more weapons and better scopes. It’s fun, silly and at the same time a very eerie feel sometimes. I just started playing Far Cry 5 for the first time recently thanks to Xbox gamepass and it's by far one of the BEST games I've ever played. The Story is gripping, dark and CRAZY lol the open world state of Montana is absolutely GORGEOUS on my 4K TV & the Xbox series S allows the game to played at a buttery smooth 60fps. This game is riveting in everyway & constantly makes you ponder decisions you make. I highly recommend it, especially for anyone who has gamepass as it's included in your subscription. I'm over 30 hours into the game and while I'm at the point where I can finish the campaign I've decided to stop the story missions in favor of exploration and side missions. I can't stop gushing about this game and it gets even better with co-op which is Soo much fun, like seriously it's FUN ripping through the game world with a friend. There's also the arcade which consists of endless possibilities giving you the option to make your own levels or play other players levels. Extremely good game, highly recommend! Happy gaming ✌️

Jim Jones also used Guyana to Isolate his people, ordered Bibles internationally with pieces of guns scattered across each order to arm his people over time, and utilized the local Guyanese military to assassinate a senator who was trying to help defectors leave the cult. Just some cool scary things to look out for in the story if they are making references to both events. Either way I'm hyped. Also if you're interested in cults, you should read Raven: The Untold Story of Jim Jones. Its a chilling account of his entire life leading to the mass suicide. It was actually written by a journalist who was gunned down on the airstrip where the senator was killed, he managed to make it out alive with a few of the defectors. When they announced this game I actually thought the main character would be something like that, not that I'm complaining. The creators of Bad are actually adapting the book into a series on HBO.

as gorgeous as the game is and all the features it has I still cant get over the fact that in the fry cry editor you can build this beautiful map and only one thing could clip through something and it won't tell you where it is or what it is. so you would have to go through every object you'd place down to find what it is. Sometimes it isn't even an object.

I have never seen any of the Far Cry games other than Far Cry Priminal, this is will be my first gameplay of the Far Cry Series1-5 and while watching this gameplay, the beginning reminded me of what happened in Wacco Texas in 1993. It felt close or similar to that event. I cannot wait to see the rest of the game.

Is a bad game bad forever? Especially since we live in the digital age? Siege was thought to be a very bad game. I loved it from day one but it is now known as the best FPS available. The Division and For Honor both were bad as well but have changed and won players back. Im sure this applies to many games today

Aliquid Gaming The actual games can improve. However, the idea still applies because you only get one chance to make a first impression. I'd wager that around 90% of the people who bought the division hated it and left. So in people's minds a bad game is still bad forever.

The quote definitely doesn't hold as much weight anymore: "a bad game is bad forever". A game can start bad but end up good via patches. That doesn't make it bad forever no matter what the initial impression was.

One thing I wasn't particularly fond of in this Far Cry was the fact you had to unlock ammo bags, weapon holsters, and other types of carriers for stuff with skill points. I much prefer having to get those things with hunting. Which causes you to explore the map more. So you can see the variety of wildlife and diverse ranges of landscapes in there beautiful games. That would be my only really big complaint about the game. I enjoyed it overall regardless of that

Played it - loved it. One advice for new players - don’t overuse the helicopters… yes, they make the game easier to complete and easier to travel around the game’s world, but believe me, once the credits start rolling, you’ll regret that you didn’t explore the game properly and rushed through it.

The Leaderboard interesting perspective and an understandable one. But it still can't be said that each players experience will be unique as many all do the same missions and many would undoubtedly do it in a similar order. There are after all only so many ways a game with limited content can be experienced. I'm just too hopeful that we might one day get a game that really does allow varying types of players to experience it differently in that certain missions and characters will only be found by a certain style of play. For instance, have a gun-ho type player get the attention of certain elite villains or be hired by people as a merc, or a stealthy player would be approached by npcs who need missions executed in a discreet manner, or the player, depending on style of play, would be allocated different tasks in story missions, etc. That would make players' experiences unique. Wishful thinking though, I know...

6:13 I was playing this mission yesterday and that version of this cutscene didn't happen to me. This black priest just handed the "bible" to me and I as the main character took out the gun. He was not been hit. What did I do differently?

After playing farcry6 a second time, looking back they found the sweet spot on a lot of things. Character, you are mostly customizable but still talk. Gameplay/story mashing, you have one big set goal, but can start anywhere. Rural : populated ratio, there are areas that are secluded and quiet as well as a city and many towns. Weapon getting and modding, you buy or find weapons and make the modification. Unlike in ND where you make everything and cannot modify it or 5 where you just buy everything. 3rd person cuts cutsceans are great too.
