I always thought the U-Hual truck was a small nod to Dr. Facilier. For WDW's Haunted Mansion, you can't see it, due to the dark, but there is a book of Nightmare before Christmas in the attic.

Screw "critics". They're nothing but pompous jerks. People can't just suspend their disbelief and have fun. These movies aren't made to win Oscars. Just have fun. Look at it thru the eyes of a young kid experiencing the ride for the first time. My wife and I love this movie.

I really love the 2023 movie Haunted Mansion. I'm excited for its Steelbook 4K release in October. I hope it gains a fan base like Hocus Pocus did. It's a great film!

@@westerfrost3701 Reflecting on the 90s, I vividly recall the broadcast of Hocus Pocus on Disney Channel, complete with behind-the-scenes footage. The notable prop, The Book from Hocus Pocus, was even showcased at Planet Hollywood in Orlando, back when it was still known as Downtown Disney, now renamed Disney Springs. The 2023 release of Haunted Mansion evokes a similar vibe to Hocus Pocus. It may not be riding the wave of popularity at the moment, but I predict it will garner a cult following in a few years. I can't help but reminisce about the times when Hocus Pocus was overlooked by many, while I, as a kid, treasured it as a Halloween gem.

60 that is not the Hat Box Ghost it is Baron Samedi an important figure in vodou or voodoo (depending on how you spell it). Although it seems the graphic has been made for the movie as the New Orleans super graphic on U-Haul has a Mardi Gras theme.

Qhan nous arrivon vers la fin du cimetière du manège. nous pouvons apercevoir plusieurs lamp en forme de bras qui tiennent des torches, entre les miroirs. Ils font apparitions dans le film avec celui de Eddy Murphy ( qhans lui et sa famille son dans le manoir pour la première fois en se dirigeant vers la salle à manger) et celui de 2023 ( qhan kent pensai avoir trouvé l'entrée secrètes en tirant sur une lamp en forme de bras qui tien une torche)

The 2023 version is better than the 2003 version. The haunted mansion is one of the coolest rides in Disneyland & Disneyworld. This movie is my favorite movie of 2023 other than Little Mermaid.

The hatbox ghost’s name is not a nod to another imagineer.. why hide the truth? His name and backstory is a “nod” to Aleister Crowley. Of course it would be too obvious to give the same last name so why not “crump” to be just as close. Those who know, know.
