Pretty good! There are a couple of small errors. (1) the original bride was not "near a window" and not "across from" the HBG, at least not directly. She was approximately where the piano player is today. Also, the "press preview," at which the Paul Clemens photo was reportedly taken, was a "preview" in name only. It had been scheduled before Marc Davis decided to move the opening day up to the 9th of August. The "preview" took place at midnight on Monday the 12th, so it turns out the Clemens photo WAS taken after the ride had opened. The HBG was pulled out after the soft openings on the 7th and 8th and was missing at the August 9 opening, but he was put back in sometime in the next two days. I myself saw him on Thursday the 14th.

I was so happy to see him when i went back to Disneyland. I nearly screamed out "hatty" when we rode past during the holiday layover. As a Disney fan I was just happy he finally came home from his long vacation. 😂

I have to agree with "hatty' being in the wrong location at WDW. It 100% is inconsistent with the story, the point is that Constance (the bride) chopped his head off and as such, should appear in the attic right after her to make that storyline consistent. Not only that, but you're not supposed to see any 'spirits' until Madame Leota summons them. You're only supposed to feel their aura before you reach the seance room. Then there's the necessity of focal points. Putting him by the endless hallway takes the rider's attention from where it should be. It's too many things to focus on all at once for most riders' and when most people only get to Disney once, maybe twice if they're lucky, in their lives, one major focal point per area is all you need. That all said, the history of this ride has always been wildly interesting to me with how many changes it's gone through, whereas it's equally popular counterpart that is POTC, has been through relatively little changes by comparison over the same amount of time!

The newer one just looks like a cartoon. Where the other one looks more realistic.
