I will never understand why the current gaming systems do not have solid Bluetooth support. I could kind of understand why with the Xbox One and ps4, because Bluetooth in general wasn’t up to par to be included at the time, but when this generation of consoles debuted, we already had things like AirPods and all kinds of Bluetooth goods that were much better than at the time of the previous generation. So I really don’t understand it.

I have the astro a50 and do not waste ur money on them!!! they're NOT worth $350 the headstrap broke within 5 months, now it has been around 9 months and everytime I turn them on its a huge static feedback noise so loud you cant wear them. Main Issue i had before the feedback noise would be they just disconnect for no reason at all and then you have to go reset the headset.

@@MrUgotknifed unless your taking them into boxing matches there shouldn’t be any reason to have any major issues like that, astros are known to be pretty flexible and sturdy and good sound quality so the issues your talking about seem out of place like you just got a faulty headset or you’ve been throwing it about and not taking care of it 😅

I have just bought the astros a50 and I'm returning them, it's impossible to use wireless Bluetooth stuff on Xbox, stick to wired, it's easier

I've had two Xbox Wireless Headsets. The build quality is bad. To start, I take good care of my things. They placed the charging port in such an area that it either puts pressure on the cable, on the mic or strains the headband hinges. On the first pair, the insides of the microphone completely fell apart until it didn't work at all. Had it for a year. On the second pair, the microphone cover also deattached so I had to tape it to keep it in place. Then, the right headband hinge completely broke, having to allways be pushed inside det headband for it to not leave the earpeace dangling. A few months later, the left hinge broke, having to be duct tape together. Had it for almost two years.

I got the A10s and all together I think I've dropped my controller and mic about 200 times😭 the wire is fine it's just sometimes it has echo and I gotta adjust the aux plugin, really long cord so sometimes my cord will get caught in my chair wheels, really loud, if It wasn't dropped like 200 times I'm sure it would still be going strong , 8/10

Regardless they're not quite as good as the Astros or the nova pro, nova pro slightly better, much lighter with anc and a fair bit cheaper, astro a50x same price, better but also heavy, it's probably the third choice behind those two though, at least until new stuff comes out, but none of this matters man, if you have them and you like them then there is no problem, if people didn't buy different stuff even if its slightly worse and slightly more expensive there would be no competition and standards would drop, its not like you have a garbage headset, its still one of the best

I had Turtle Beach stealth 700 gen 2 and they're decent, but with having to turn them on twice and awful bluetooth range they're ranked fairly, my new steelseries nova pro wireless blow them out of the water. he didn't really take into consideration value for money, just actual quality. Then you decide your budget and buy the highest tier ones you can afford.

@@manawearblacknow compare them to the stealth pro, make it fair. I own both and for console stealth pro is a whole lot better than nova pro. For pc I’ve would say is even or maybe I would still use stealth pro for FPS footsteps (I go back and forth).

I got the Astros. They’re built like shit. Both sides of the headphones are held in by tiny screws. All of which have fallen out and now the headphones are just dangling from the wires. Way too expensive for such low quality material.

@@goldblood101 I guess that can happen with anything you buy there can always be a manufacture fault… but Astro give you 2 years warranty just in case so you could get a free replacement if that happened :)

@@goldblood101 2 years warranty is pretty generous but that’s just coz they know 9/10 there shouldn’t be any issues with the build quality and longevity of the headsets, most people go 5-10 years without needing to replace their astros… also update with mine I just needed to replace the wire and they will be working good as new again :)

@@goldblood101 I work from home so I’ve been using them for work 8-9 hours a day and then also gaming with them for like 3-4 hours a day for the last 3-4 years and like I said still holding up strong… since I figured out that the wire is the issue I was having I just got a new wire and some new ear pads and cost me less than $30 and headset is good as new

Steel series Siberia 3 is still unbeatable. Lasted for 7plus years until the mic stopped working. The arctis 1 did not even last a year before big issues started.

I’ve had my Steelseries arctis 9x for just over 3 years now and the whole of the left ear piece is coming off as I can see a metal rod kinda thing, that is not meant to show (other people have reported the same) and the other ear piece, the whole ear muff is coming off too, attached to round plastic. Before all that though there were little black plastic bits I would notice falling out or off. So I would not recommend it at all
