i had 2 microdisectomies and a AlLIF & PLIF fusion about a year and half ago, finally getting back into the ooutdoors myself and can't wait to get out and do some epic solo car camping trips! If you are not already doing this, take your veggies out of their bag and dry them well and put them in paper towels and back in the dry bag or another container. They will last3 times as long 😊. Thank you for sharing your adventures and many blessings to you on your travels and in life!

Pro-tip for the garlic! I end up smashing my cloves with the flat side of the knife and then chopping it up. IMHO, you get a better chop. You can do it with the paper on and it actually makes the paper easier to get off.

I saw several of your videos about a year ago, liked and subscribed, etc., but haven't watched any for some time. i just binge watched about 5 of your recent ones and got hooked again. Cant wait to seee more. By the way, I really enjoyed this video. It shows another "camping" option that is necessary sometimes. Oh, and William is awesome. He seems like a great pooch. I am a big dog lover and enjoy seeing William in your videos. I am slowly getting my jeep set up for some long adventures. I pull a pop up camoer for the family on camoung trips, but I am starting to outfit my jeep for some overlanding.....cant wait to get out there!!

Also, there are many boondocking spots that are super close to Hinton . Even the Robb road pull out parking spot just right beside has a veiw . at least . Oh, and get a UFA card for free, and you shower for free and get cheaper fuel . Same with the other bulk stations . Oh, and Grande Chase has one of the nicest pools and two saunas for cheap ... Hinton pool is old but a good sauna ..Oh and in summer, it's $30 for the RV park behind BCMI . Full plug in but sewer and all the free laundry you wana do with soap and all . Nice showers and a pool and hot tub ... again, Canadian nomad here, and I have a Jeep . I know AB and BC very well .... Best of luck to you. I just started watching you ...

I just now found your ch. i have been following camping with Steve for a while and seen your ch thru him, so i am likening what i am seeing now. and what people are saying to you about being homeless is not right technically you're not homeless you have your jeep. and like you said can go where you want when you want. well you take care, i live in North Dakota we are having a small heat wave this weekend, 50des and 60des, you take care and stay safe.

Having watched you a bit and followed Simon from the start, it is easy to see (which I do) how the grass always seems "greener" on the other side. Nothing is ever greener if you don't realize how happy you can make yourself. Without going into specifics, I have been in the some of the most miserable, hopeless places on this planet, but taught myself to find humor in almost anything. Keep doing a good job at it, as no matter where you roam, you only take up a 6' x 2' x 2' box. The rest is an illusion or simulation for you to laugh at. We were not put here to be martyrs or anything else. We were put here to be happy, and if you can make others happy ... all the better.

Hey Loui, I've been following you since I found you through Simon's channel. I'm enjoying your content so far. I don't know if this is a practical suggestion for you, but my mom dehydrates veggies during the summer when they are more plentiful and cheap for use in those winter days she doesn't want to venture out to get groceries so she still has her vegetables to put in soup One day I hope to sleep in a Walmart parking lot. LOL. But maybe after I get a diesel heater first. I hope you enjoy your trip through the ice fields. It's about as cold where I am as to where you've been so I can relate to your current experience. Watching you do your grocery shopping, I was wondering if there are any products in Canada you enjoy that you can't find in the US or vice versa? Wishing you. two a safe and happy journey!

Next time try to find some Mrs Dash Garlic and Herb seasoning and Mrs Dash Original seasoning which has a yellow label! That should cover most of your seasonings! I use them in most of my cooking dishes! Also William is soo cute!
