10k Trophies by the End of the Year and Grand Slam Updates!! | March Check-in

3 months of 2024 have passed so lets check in on my yearly goals and if I am on track to complete them. What's the plan to reach 10k trophies and how is my grandslam challenge going?! This is my March Check in.

You are officially a third of the way to your 10,000 trophy goal now as of April 7th, which is awesome. I'm working on getting 150 total plats by the end of the year, I'm a little behind but If I can hit my 125th by the end of June I'll be back on track

Ludixp on fire 🔥- it’s been a fast start to the year for you. That’s a nice 👌 wee trophy streak that you have going. Good luck with the grand slam challenge. I’m on 9 plats for the year - currently playing a backlog game - Shadow Of The Tomb Raider. Decided to go back to get the few remaining trophies and to do all the DLC tombs. What was your overall opinion on Hogwarts Legacy and how many hours did it take you to plat it? I own it but haven’t got around to playing it yet. My favourite three plats this year have been Prince Of Persia The Lost Crown, Spider-Man 2 and Resident Evil Village.

Always nice to open KZbin and see another video. I'm currently working on the Destroy All Humans remake platinum. If I can hit 3000 trophies by the end of the year, I'll be happy, which I reckon is achievable for me (that's if I don't keep getting distracted by Gran Turismo 7).

Since you pointed out it's the 30th anniversary, I guess I will join you for the Grand Slam. Already got a VR2, PS4, and PS5 game out of the way. PSP I could do Jak and Daxter the Lost Frontier, the only Jak game I haven't played. PS3 I was already planning on finishing Lego Harry Potter 1-4 in December so I can have a platinum that took 13 years to get. Maybe the Vita I will finish Jak 2 because I started it with the intent to do debug mode, but it doesn't work on Vita so I have some of the trophies but not all of them.

My goal I set was 12 “torture” platinums. Games not well received, not necessarily bad but some definitely bad and I’m making no progress lmao. I did get Forspoken in Jan, what a mess of wasted potential and a SLOG of a platinum (and game). And I got Anthem which I expected to be, gameplay wise, the most fun of the bunch I have considered and it was but the content was boooorrrrrring. And another slog of a plat. So I kind of fell out. But I have also been a goof and decided to invest time into long plats like Borderlands 2 and Tiny Tina instead of focus. Because I like to make it hard on myself. Plus the looming milestone of Platinum 350 and eventual 400 which I may do Ni no Kuni for just because 200 was Ni no Kuni and it would be neat but the plat sucks… but I love the game but the RNG 😭But I love the idea, but idk where I even left off! *sigh* the things we do for trophies

If you played the original tomb raiders pick up the remaster, it has 250 trophies (most of which are pretty easy) and 3 platinums if you play the ps4 version
