Linkara, Lewis, you are my hero, and I mean it all the way, you are one of the greatest people I've gotten the pleasure of knowing these past years. Even to when your back is against the wall, and when your mind screams into madness because of an awful comic, you still pick yourself back up to get the job done and get better along the way. Your show is one of the greatest things I've ever gotten to watch, it's funny, smart, fun, educational, and helps people realize and find out things about comics we never knew about, bad or good, from how crazy the artwork was from the 90's, to finding out about other heroes like ROM Spaceknight and the Blue Beetle, and to know how stupid and idiotic it was for Spider man to sell his marriage to the devil. I do hope that someday we will meet so I could just say thank you for all the times that when I was bored and down, your show was one of things to help raise my spirits and enterain me. In the end, what I'm trying to say is, Linkara, you are the Godamn Batman! Who is nothing but death and crime, and the ADAMANTIUM RAGE of bee's MY GOD! "She does not!" ASM#400 is a beautiful send off for the character. A shame, they ended up retconning it, because it's infinitely more preferable to the horrors we had to endure with the end of Civil War and OMD. I know you said you don't care about it, but Renew Your Vows really is good. Worth checking out.

Vulture challenged Spider Man to some kind of duel, and while Peter is clinging to the side of a building he's thinking about a time he tried to make a winter costume out of wool. Here is actual dialogue (well, thought balloons) from that comic: "...about as effective as an underwater fireworks display. I was sweating like a wrestler, and then it froze."

There is only one way the marriage, and all the history that comes with it, will return: The removal of Joseph Quesada. Once Joe and Brevort are removed (which I strongly believe will be soon) Peter will most likely beat Mephisto and forcing to return the marriage or at least confirm it existed in the first place. I always despised the Jackal, even in his earliest appearances. He never made any sense. Ok, so we got Spidey. He's been going out every single day of his life fighting thugs, goons, corrupt cops, mercenaries, spies, super spies, professional fighters, ex-military specialists, ect. He's been fighting super villains as powerful...or more powerful than himself like Green Goblin, Rhino, Scorpion, Doctor Octopus, Electro, The Shocker, The Kingpin, ect. He's fought super heroes as powerful...or more powerful than himself such as Thor, The Hulk, Cyclops, Beast, Angel, Ice Man, Captain America, Ghost Rider, Daredevil, The Punisher, ect. Even during those early years, Spider-man had been all around the world, outer-space, and other dimensions. What the hell did Miles Warren...a man in his 50's or 60's really do? He sat around. He pined for Gwen Stacy. He "planned." I'll go ahead and let him say he "trained" even though we never see this (and how much training can a fucking elderly college professor really get in?). He fought no one, did nothing, went no where. The comics can say he did that "off panel" but I still roll my eyes and call bullshit. Even if we say he somehow mucked with his own DNA and Peter's DNA and is now somehow as physically able as Spider-man (again, ignoring that Spidey was in his very late teens, early 20's, and Warren was 50-60) I refuse to believe he has the fighting experience necessary to go up against Spider-man and stand a chance. Even then, pre-clone saga, most of Jackal's "big victories" over Spider-man involved him scratching him from behind...and being over joyed that the writers forgot all about Spidey's Spider-senses. I never bought the character as a good realistic threat and always groaned when they'd have him beat up Spider-man with ease. Just can't stand that character, and I feel he should be one of those "one punch villains" where...the hero punches them once, and they go down hard and fast.

The Jackal in the 70's made sense. One, he wasn't in love with Gwen Stacy, he originally felt overprotective of her and thought Peter and Spider-Man were a danger to her, and appointed himself her guardian/father. Two, in the seventies, the Jackal never fought Spider-Man. He always manipulated other villains into fighting Spidey and advancing his plans. He was the man pulling the strings, but never physically defeated Spider-Man. As for his Spider-Sense not warning him of Jackal scratching his head with a drugged claw, they answer your question in the very comic it happens. Peter's Spider-Sense warns him of enemies, but since Miles Warren had been his quote on quote "friend and professor" for over a decade, he wasn't classified as an enemy and didn't set it off. Its lazy, I know, but at least they tried.

His assets passed to Harry and then would have been frozen or sold to the company's investors after Harry's death.

Wait... the Catskills? Like... he swung his web all the way there? ... That's like a hundred and thirty miles from Yonkers, and in the 90's the best you'd get for a reasonable pitstop is Newburgh (which is infamous for being even more skeevy than the seediest parts of NYC) or Peekskill, which... is on the wrong side of the Hudson River. (No, I totally didn't grow up in that area in the 90's I don't know what you're talking about) So... they mean to tell us he had NO pit stops for food or washing up in all that time/distance, and that he web swung for almost 300 miles in a single night OR that he's some sort of survival expert? Or... wait... Spiderman gets there in the middle of a blizzard that's covering both NYC and the Catskills AFTER seeing Ben unconscious in the snow, so... he has to get up there to save Ben from exposure in under 3 hours, by webswinging... I....what? I dunno. Seems kinda dumb, and like the writers underestimate just how spread out everything is in New York State relative to NYC. (The far tip of Long Island is closer to NYC than the Catskills are)

Congratulations Louis on 10 years of AT4W and thank you for all those years of entertainment and at times even emotional support (unintentional or not) I have been watching you since your crossover review with the nostalgia critic about Superman 4 in 2009. Originally i avoided the review because I for some reason assumed that it was either a really un-funny april fools joke or a super early video of nostalgia critics because of how much younger you looked then him. Still after I accidentally clicked it a dozen times I finally decided to actually watch the thing. And I will say you made me an instant fan. So imagine my surprise when eleven year old me discovered that you had your own show reviewing comic books a media that I never really got into because I was never all that interested. I skipped around your channel looking for more movie reviews until I decided to watch your All Star Batman 1 review and it was at that point that I became a huge fan. But what finally got me permanently hooked was your review of Electric tale of Pikachu number one where I found myself at the end of a storyline involving a creature you called the entity and I was completely baffled with how Linkara were supposed to beat something like that. But you managed to not only write a way to beat it without it being stupid but you also made it extremly compelling and I was completely enthralled with the entity and ever since then I had been hunting down every storyline episode innnyour show (eventually just watching fan compilations of your storylines) needless to say I was hooked. your show had gotten me out of some tough spots some even existential and I will always be grateful for that so from the bottom of my heart thank you.

10 years, holy hot damn. Congrats to Lewis and all those involved in making this a reality! Now my first exposure to Linkara was TGWTG Brawl, but the first video I watched of him was Star Wars 3D #1. At the time I didn't know any better and was extremely salty towards all his comments about Star Wars and didn't bother watching him after that. But then I saw his Marville # 1 review, laughed my ass off at his review towards that POS, then decided to give it a second chance by starting from the beginning with the first Clone Saga review. Since then I've been hooked.

Fun fact, One More Day wasn't the first time they tried to destroy the marriage. In Adjectiveless Spiderman Volume 2 #13 from January 2000, they tried to kill Mary Jane in a goddamn plane crash just to end the marriage. Thankfully, editors stopped it but holy shit. One of the first if not the first Spiderman comic in the new millennium tried to murder a main character just because of the writers being bitter.

It has been an absolute pleasure following you since 2012. You've always been one of my favorite online reviewers because of how respectful you are. The amount of respect you show for your fans and review material and fellow reviewers is inspiring because you were doing it before it was expected. Come to think of it, I don't think I've followed anyone for as long as I've followed you. I will say, despite having non-existent interest in comics, you particularly made me appreciate the medium...and, even go as far as get a few things, despite looking at Marvel and DC's convoluted mess of universes with terror. That said, by far the best part had been the storyline segments. Some time ago, I watched some scattered episode after seeing you in NC's BloodRayne review and left moderately impressed. Fast forward like half a year later and me having remembered the scattered bits of storyline and getting curious enough to watch around two hundred reviews, not only enjoying the excellent storyline, but also opening up my views to a medium I had effectively written off. Congratulations on ten years Lewis ^_^ Don't know if you'll see this comment, but I just wanted to say you've had a strong, positive impact on my life. I started watching you in 2011 when I started college, and you helped me deal with daily stress. I remember seeing Electric Tale of Pikachu being the episode you were on, and learning from my friend you had storyline in your reviews, and so I watched every single episode over the course of my first semester. My life's been a rollercoaster since then, with a lot more downs than ups. But your videos always helped keep a smile on my face, and are something I've shared with friends and significant others ever since. Thank you so much for Atop the Fourth Wall, and I hope you get to continue this show for as long as you live ^_^. Congratulations again.

To echo the sentiments of several people below, I have to credit you with a lot around comics and media. I got into your show about six years ago now, in a time when I was still hiding my Spider-Girl comics and staring in horror at the library's section because I had no idea if I even wanted to try to get into anything else. It's weird how watching you rip apart bad comics inspired me to find the courage to grab that first one off the shelf, but I ended up getting into a lot of series because you had covered either a bad issue, an okay issue, or just an origin story. Watching you break down what did and didn't work got me to finally start working on a comic that had circulated in my head for awhile, but I had never gotten on the page. Seeing your Star Trek episodes convinced me to finally get my hands on a copy of Wrath of Khan, and watching the storylines that went with the episodes greatly influenced the kinds of things I believed I could do. But even outside of that, they were just good stories, and ones I felt like I could keep coming back to whenever I had a moment or needed to unwind a bit. I guess the short version of what I'm saying is...Linkara, YOU ARE THE MAN!!!

While I haven't watched since the beginning (I think I started around 2012?), i've been a long-time fan. I want to thank YOU Linkara, you got me into comic books which caused me to found my own website about comics I like, start a blog about comics and helped me get into more hobbies. Because of this show, Star Trek is one of my favorite shows now, and I got into tabletop games because of this series. Your videos were always my go-to source of entertainment when I was feeling depressed and your dedication to this show inspires me to get through the trudge of everyday life to do what I love (along with other, super dedicated people I follow of course).

I remember the first videos I watched from you were Athena #1 and your JLA: Act of God Trilogy back when they first came out all the way back in 2010. It's amazing to see how far you've come since then, and how big you've gotten. You're a damn hilarious reviewer to be sure, but you're a lot more than just that to me. To be perfectly honest, you've been one of the big influences in my life in my desire to become a writer. Seeing your reviews and analyses on so many different works has helped me refine my work, so thank you for that, man. And it amazes me that you still have plans for what you want to do for the next 10 years. That's a rare kind of creativity and ambition, and I hope you accomplish all of it. Thank you Linkara for ten awesome years, and here is to ten more and beyond. My brother and I have enjoyed you, Critic, The Nerd and so many other amazing people on KZbin. You are a role model to me and the reason my brother and I got back into loving Power Rangers. We loved every retrospective, History of Power Rangers, anniversary episode, event comic, else world, 100th episode, and any other video that links me and my brother to our childhood. You have been the teacher that has turned me and my brother into the comic book gurus we are today in Marvel, DC, or otherwise. I compare my Latin and Anime Club teacher, Mrs. Fowler, to Tommy Oliver from Dino Thunder in how she mentored me and my brother like the dino rangers; and that same case you are our Zordon, giving two Twin brothers with attitude something to look forward to each week.
