Believe it or not, Drum was my last Duty Station and it actually wasn't that bad LOL Seriously, Like it wasn't bad at all...The only thing I really hated was, I went from Germany to Drum. Laid back Army then back to real Army Lol but that post is beautiful and being to drive home to Long Island every weekend was the shit.

Of course they will film this the only time you see grass. Come October till mid April there is nothing but snow and cold. We use to call the people that lived on Watertown C.O.W. for two reasons. One it's an abbreviation for Citizens Of Watertown, and two if you have a wife, it's what she's going to look like after your first tour in Ft. Drum.

How much is a train to NYC from Ft Drum

Don't recall them having a train from Ft. Drum to NYC. Greyhound bus use to go from Watertown to Port Authority. I believe there might be an AmTrack from Syracuse to NYC. Besides two things this video doesn't show you about Drum. For one it's very, very cold and there is a whole lot of snow. Put it this way,the troops from Alaska come to Drum for winter training...sit on that for a bit.
