11-14 Chrysler 300 power steering fixed

Have power steering fluid checked every 20k. This will save a lot of money and headache. The dealer won't look at it unless you ask. I put 80k on my 2014 RT and found out that my power steering fluid reservoir was almost bone dry and never has been checked. It has been serviced at the dealership since I bought the vehicle. Your steering will feel numb, rough and noisy when low. I was fortunate to only needing a flush at the tune of $260. You can do this yourself cheaper I know, but I was under a barrel and needing my vehicle asap. Hope this helps!

Well if it is low or empty you have a leak. Most likely the resovar gasket leaking. Buy new ones of e bay.

Awesome video I found a leak on my charger and my steering was really hard to turn. I notice level low so I was filling up when I found leak. I just received new resivior and orings I will start repairs tomorrow thank's for giving me something to work off of. Thanks again..

I would check the level of the fluid first and the Power steering should make noise when you turn the steering wheel you should hear it if you were outside the vehicle

Try changing the fluid. Hard to turn left is a big sign the fluid needs changing.

XxshadowgamingxX 13 thanks for watching I think you need to check the level of the fluid, to check the fluid you need to get to the power steering because that’s where is the reservoir and might as well check if there is any leaks make sure when you turn the car on and you turn the steering wheel you hear the power steering works it has little noise to it good luck

Hey, thank you for posting this very helpful! I have question, my car has started to send "Lost Communication" codes and mostly all error icon appeared in the dashboard when I am driving suddenly the car stop accelerating with noticeable hesitation. the workshop dealer told me the problem from power steering cables! Honestly I strongly do not think it is the cause. What do you think brother?
