[Nephew of Ida] Everything runs great till the moment I tried to make holes in the top case dom. The link maybe in my version 8.0 don't accepted to select the point for the hole. I say great thanks for this video. Although I would design this part different. Without Masterpart and links. I played a little bit with links and I had a lot of problems. I love your videos since years.

I have a big question sir, if we would do this model as CATIA version, are we gonna need a union trim in order to trim corners of the shape? in fact, I am wondering is there any command like union trim on NX to trim faces of solid bodies which is our selection :)

I did that exercise in catia as well. So please watch that video. In NX there is no "union trim" like the one in catia.

Good day! Thank you very much for the lessons! This is very useful, especially with assemblies! I have a question. When I try to hide p_casing_master in the assembly, p_casing_bottom and p_casing_top also disappear. What am I doing wrong? I use NX11 too.

Hi, thanks for your model. Somehow you created an "empty" referenceset "part" - so if you switch the p_casing_top reference set to "model" and the p_casing_bottom reference set to "model" then you will see your 2 parts ;) ("replace referenceset" in the contextmenu if you right-click the part)

Hi! Thanks for your videos! I have a problem with this exercise and I don't find my mistake... For every action (ribs, screw supports, etc...), I have to create and sketch for each one because I can't do it in the same contour sketch. (Hope I made myself clear, sorry for my poor english). Hi, sorry there is no 3d pdf in nx. You could use Adobe DC and Tetra 3D PDF convertor. There are some plugins from different companies which you coul use as well.
