Heh, that HP power supply/amplifier is one of the first things I thought of when you made your last video. 😀

@@ruhnet Haha, indeed! Sadly, it didn’t pack enough punch to get me to the 26VAC, but proof of concept. I suppose out of pure curiosity now, I’ll have to acquire an HP amp that CAN do the job. Never ending!

@ yeah that was a let-down lol. I’m wondering if it would be possible to use a high powered audio amplifier (fed with 400Hz signal), since 100W at 8ohms is around 28V RMS. 😄

@@ruhnet I’ve read about that as a possible solution given 400Hz is in the audio range. I don’t see why it’s not possible. But some I’m not bold enough, I’ll probably try and find a working aircraft inverter for use a a dedicated 115VAC 400Hz output source.

Are you an avionics technician? Please keep this series going! I was looking into learning avionics electronics...I'm an electrical engineering student.

@@AethericTheorem Hi, I should have prefaced this series first with I am not an avionics technician… I’m just a hobbyist and aviation enthusiast who’s discovered the fascinating world of avionics. I’ll absolutely keep this series going. I’ve been considering doing more deep dives on specific avionics. And also doing a video on some excellent books anyone with an interest in avionics should pick up. My collection is growing. In some of my other video descriptions, I tag a few other channels who’ve inspired me and are absolutely worth checking out. Thanks for watching, and stay tuned!

To save you some trouble, here's two of my favorite inspiration channels. The latter focusing exclusively on avionics/aerospace technologies. @CuriousMarc @lelabodemichel5162
