11 AMAZING Details in Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost of Tsushima may not be the most detailed game of all time but its definitely one of the best, from it's story to it's gameplay to the overall visuals and music, this game isnt one to miss. I'll be resuming my normal Attention to Detail videos shortly but before that I have a few ideas for more videos on this games so I hope you'll all stick around and subscribe if you haven't already :)

like, the stealth of the ghost of tsushima is very bad, the artificial intelligence is terrible, it has a lot of polishing problems, facial expressions, bugs, low textures, horrible animations, generic history and cliche, but other than that it's a fun game, songs awesome, art direction too, cool mechanics, cool characters, etc ... I don't know if this game deserves goty

This game is fast becoming my GOTY for this year. Absolutely amazing. I HIGHLY recommend trying out the Japanese voicetrack as the voiceactors do an phenomenal job, sadly the lipsync is only in English but still.....I prefer it in Japanese.

Also I got a detail for you: In the 3rd area where everything is frozen when you gallop your horse on the frozen lake your horse loses traction. It feels a bit "off" when you run with your horse on full speed on the ice. Its subtle yet noticable and a very small but awesome detail.

Indeed, Daisuke overall did a fantastic job as Jin. Love how his performance starts out subdued, because Samurai are taught to hide emotions. Then, he starts getting more and more emotional as story progresses. Great subtle acting all around.

There is a hidden trophy for paying respects to secret locations, I believe this is what happens when you do because the same thing happened to me when I bowed at Taka's grave, except it was fireflies

@Solid Snake I can agree on the animation, gets clunky sometimes but the quests are enjoyable, I legit have invested my time into Masako's quest and Ishikawa cause both quests are good, however, many missions forces you to be stealthy, especially those boring "follow that guy to his hideout or base so we can kick their ass" type, it does feel boring, literally boring. Other than that, the game is really good, especially the landscape, the Island of Tsushima as a whole, feels good to explore the Island.

@Solid Snake ah i see, I find the regular quests from other side NPCS, not bad. Not as good as the story ones or mythic ones but an ok level. Super easy? I can see that, perfect parrying is just too OP, if you equip the charm that lets you perfect parry and perfect dodge every time, but I don't really use it cause it doesn't feel good for me. Even scaring the Mongols is too easy, wear some gear that has a chance to terrify enemies and some charms that do the same and then all of you have to do is to kill one guy and the rest runs real quick.

The right hand spins the katana in one revolution (to symbolically flick off blood) while the left hand holds the kashira loosely to act as a socket for the blade to rotate on and stop the spin. After the rotation, the right hand balls into a fist and knocks on the handle (to symbolically shake off any leftover blood), then the right hand grabbing the katana in a reverse grip, places it back in its scabbard.

I knew you could "bow" however I only did it to NPC after they did it to me and sometimes after I killed a entire patrol I wold bow after I took out their last man. Never tried doing it to the poor unfortunate people that fallen to the Mongols like that... wow. This game has me that "magic" that keep's me hooked that I have not felt in a long time, since the Witcher 3 or Skyrim.

The weather changes depending on how you play. Sneaky sneaky ghost mode makes it foggy or rainy if its clear weather. Also The tutorial videos for the stances correlate to the element they represent. The water stance videos have Jin fighting near water, Stone near rocks etc And Each of the stances after pressing R2 represent the button Circle is shield Cross is the Two Crossed Swords Triangle is the spears Square is the shape of the brutes bodies

If you do a part 2 , here are some details i found: 1. Rain will fall from rooftops 2. Horse veins are visible 3 . If you bow to a npc he/she will bow back 4. If you get to a cold place, you will freeze to death if you don't find fire 5. The air density/visibility will change when you're too close to the fire 6. Smoke comes out of Jin's mouth 7. Jin and the npcs leave footprints in the surface they walk on 8. The physics of trees when you move in them 9. When crawling underneath the houses you will find spider nets.

I'm a little disappointed theres not a lot of Easter eggs of the Kurosawa films other than Kurosawa mode. I was hoping to be able to nap similar in Sanjuro or drink heavily like in Yojimbo. If they ever make an expansion or sequel would love to see Lone Wolf and Cub. I still love the game though.

So I have to agree with you even if partially. It's better than any Assassin's Creed though in my opinion. Because the side stuff is still entirely optional. You don't need to grind like in Assassin's creed so I'm good.

If you change the direction of the wind in the photo mode, even the big clowds of smoke in the horizon will change the direction. This was insane, when I saw this. Also the sun reflects in the smoke. At Fort Yatate, was a good spot to see this.
