Off this list, primarily "Of Blades and Tails". Maybe "The Outer Radius". By the way, Jotson streams "Dome Romantik" development once a week, and is thinking of a new project post-"Gravity Ace".

Run: The World In-Between looks amazingly polished, it more reminds me of Celeste. The Battle Mechanic in Endlanders is so underused I loved the Megaman: Battle Network games as a kid.

I am very excited to look into that Battle-Network style game. I was looking for spiritual successors a while back but couldn't find anything that didn't seem built for people with inhuman reaction speeds.

Okay.. that's kinda amazing! Dome Romantik was the game that pushed me back into Game Dev, also giving me some solid idea for the game. And I have choosen Godot which I had on my drive for long time, aaaand I had no idea that this game was created using that engine!! Woah, what a coincidence! O.O I feel empowered!

@@PlayWithFurcifer Currently I experiment a lot with the engine to check out how it performs in various situations, with various approaches, while learning it. Creating scripts that can be useful for me later. But my idea is 2D make-your-factory game, inspired by a lot other games like: Factorio, Oxygen not Included, Core Keeper etc. With one special feature I will keep to myself, at the moment :) So basically I'm working on creating a prototype, to check out if it is fun and doable. Your videos have been a huge help and I'm really happy that Godot community is expanding so quickly! :D

I am surprised. I made a 2-dimensional cat game in Godot. I drew all the animations myself and I also drew almost everything myself (exceptions: the book altar in the library + the background in one of the levels). I am really proud of the final result, but this... my game does not compare to these titles, visually.

It's always surprising and heartwarming to see how quickly are games made with Godot improving. A lot of these are probably projects started quite some time ago, which leads me to believe that this improving trend will not stop anytime soon, as the engine's capabilities are getting more and more mature.

Of Blades & Tails looks fun. The trailer music has a great adventure feel that makes me want to play. Music was licensed but still, it made me smile and got me excited and it went straight to the wishlist. And oh gosh the Robin Hood movie. There's one I haven't seen in many years-

@@meandersson It's one of the first movies I remember going to as a little kid. I was 3 or 4. Everybody had to pile up their coats for me to sit on, so that I could see over the person in front of me in the theater. Before home video, it was quite an ordeal for a small child to see a movie. The rows of seats seats were at a lower angle too so, it was tougher to see over someone in front of you. And the TV at home, if you had one even, only got 3-5 channels depending on city. No cable either. You could only see movies in movie theaters. It was a different world. But there were TONS of toys themed on this version of Robin Hood. Disney didn't skimp on that.

@@PlayWithFurcifer Good question 🤔 Maybe about the growing impact that Godot is having. For example, Juan (the creator) shared recently that there has been a growing interest in using 3D in Godot, and its use in jams is more and more common.

> amazing When I think of amazing I think of KSP, RimWorld, StS, Minecraft. More than half of this video's games I wouldn't even play if they came during GameJam. Outer Radius looks like the only game that actually worth the money. Other look meh at best. And not just graphic fidelity. Adventures of mr hat looks much worse than I Wanna be the Guy or its countless fangames. Only IWBTG is free. And so are countless fangames. Compare mr hat to I wanna be the Justice Guy or cave story or even geometry dash.
