I just finished The Blighted Stars myself (5 ⭐️, the only scifi to do so since Becky Chambers & James S. A. Corey) and am already 15% in The Fractured Dark. So happy to find more scifi to enjoy

I recently finished The Devoured Worlds trilogy and I have to say, it just gets better and better. I screamed, I laughed, I smiled, I ugly cried, and I never wanted to leave these characters. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did once you get a chance to finish it!

I cannot wait for the new Mieville, he's been battling depression hence the almost 10 year lag between this and his last novel. He also announced he submitted his own 1000 pg novel to publishers while interviewing for this book, so hopefully we get that late this year/early next! I absolutely loved The Dead Cat Tail Assassins, definitely one of the better releases of the year!

I'm also excited for The Dead Cat Tail Assassin's! I really enjoy Clarks books. I'm highly anticipating Fury of the Gods by John Gwynne...so much so that I've held back reading book 1 & 2 because i know when i start im going to want book because he's one I love to binge read.

Definitely looking forward to The Bound Worlds! Series is a bit labyrinthine, so I may have to give the first two a re-read. Also, The Dollmakers by Lynn Buchanan seems neat!

I would recommend you to read Alien from Earth, if you want to try something new in sci-fi genre. It's very amazing story. A must read for every sci-fi enthusiast.

Ohhhhh you definitely sold "These Burning Stars" to me (and I hope its sequel is as good as you hope!). I just finished Mistborn Book 1 yesterday, and part of me wants to switch over to Stormlight Archive but I also don't think I could be caught up by the last book's release. Great post!

I have to let you know that I picked up The Blighted Stars based on your June TBR….. I’ve been struggling to get into sci-fi for two years and this has just been such an enthralling read that I can understand AND enjoy!
