Thank you so much for making this video. 💗 I call square knots p and q knots because that's the way I was taught to think of them - you make a loop with the left cord that looks like a q and then the second part of the knot looks like a p! I'm left handed and I find Macrame knotting much easier to follow than a lot of other crafts because they can go from left to right, as well as right to left!

Thank you for the amazing tutorial, it’s really clear and helpful! However, I would love to know how to do the vertical half hitch knots in that upside down triangle pattern that’s in the title photo? And what do you do with the leftover cords that are sticking out?

I show how to do vertical double half hitch knots at 7:51 in the video- you would continue making rows of them, skipping ropes at the beginning and end of every few rows so it tapers down into a triangle. Then you tuck the leftover ends of working cord on the back of your work and trim off the excess- hope that helps! 😊😊😊

Thank you for making a really slow video. But next time it helps if you use words too like "take left string and bring it under right string. Now take right string, put it under middle 2 strings and in front of left string". And if you love which string you mean is right left and middle.
