There was a lot going on in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, so there were probably some Easter eggs that you missed on your first viewing. The superhero film set things in place for the upcoming Wonder Woman and Justice League films, and there are a lot of DC characters who were briefly teased or referenced. In addition, there were some things that hinted at the backstory of this older and more hardened Batman, including a reference to Robin.
Let’s take a look at 11 Easter eggs that you might not have noticed in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

how do you think modern day religions came about...Man was made by the gods to work for them. Anunnaki, Anunna, Elohim, Elyahu, Olympians, 12 of them in every single culture except for indigenous cultures they had maybe one or two of those gods in their beliefs.

American audiences can't seem to stomach character development and storylines in movies. Batman v Superman had excellent character development and a well written storyline. Some say they tried to cover too much. Not at all. It's called setups. You introduce characters that will appear in a deeper role in a later part. Books do it all the time. Wonder Woman will have her own stand alone movie. Just as other characters will at some point. If you want to enjoy superhero films, read the comic books that originated their stories. The best Marvel movies did exactly that. They followed the source material.

+VFX Todd Never really liked comic books. But this actually made a pretty good story, as to why these to "heroes" would actually clash and fight each other. It also made very good use of questioning their motives and their sense of righteousness, and the waste the bring with them with their powers. Actually very good, but a difficult spectre to grasp by a lot of superheroes lovers I suspect.
@AllThingsFilm1
@AllThingsFilm1 8 жыл бұрын
Kim F. Wendel Right? I've talked to a lot of people who "got" this movie. One of the things I loved about it, was that it finally showed some of the effects of these superhero "heroic" acts. Like at the beginning, it showed how Superman's fighting an alien force resulted in killing a lot of innocent people. As you said "the waste they bring with their powers". Something that is glossed over in most superhero films. Why that point was ignored in all these comments is telling, to say the least.

+VFX Todd Alot of people say Man of Steel was ass, but that was the best Superman Movie I ever seen IMO, and I've seen the 70s and 2000s ones.
@AllThingsFilm1

D3adly StarBreaker I agree. I think Man of Steel was an excellent film. I think a lot of people should read the comic books these movies are based on, and not the TV show versions. Most of the recent Marvel films have honored the source material, being the actual comic books. Making the films better. But, many people are used to the cheesier versions from the 80's.

.. not it wasn't - the CIA were actually involved and fired a missile at the area to cover it up... if he was impersonating a C.I.A agent then the C.I.A wouldn't be involved. Besides, why impersonate a CIA agent when it would get you killed... ??? What benefit was it to him? It was a CIA agent using his name as a photographer as a cover to infiltrate the place.

Geoff johns made really good stories but justice league war isn't one them he doesn't even like it. It's one of many reasons DC is doing rebirth.

Hell, even all those times that I've searched on Wikipedia and Fandom about comic characters, events, etc., I don't remember searching for Aquaman's bio (at least earlier, now it's different). So, I've only seen him in some animated stuff and some other times. Why is/was he such a hated and unpopular character?

+W.F8990 He watched as his son (Jason Todd) was brutally tortured and killed, everyone else has left him to become independent, his parents death still haunts him and now he's dealing with finding out about aliens and then trying to control him. He's old, warn out and angry, he doesn't have the patience for his moral code anymore. But I think he will go back to his old self since he has a moment of realisation in Batman v Superman

+taylor0000027 Idiotic consumer? Lol funny you say that when everyday i speak to people about not falling for the traps of capitalism and teach people about subliminals in advertising. People that know me would say im 100% the opposite to being an idiotic consumer. I enjoyed the film. I enjoyed the story , the action , the easter eggs, the hints , the darkness. i enjoyed what Snyder has set up and the vision he has. Im one of the only people that said Affleck will be the perfect Batman and now all the critics say he was the best thing in the film. You know the saying.....arseholes....opinions....we all have them. I find it amusing that people get so hung up over others enjoying something they didnt.

+Abish Joseph I wondered that too. Perhaps she knew too much, and it was just an easy opportunity to get rid of her. You could tell she kind of realized at the last second something was wrong too. Maybe deleted scenes will expand on it. Or maybe it was just fair that Lex lost his sidekick if Superman lost Jimmy lol

+Abish Joseph Mercy is not that important in the DC mythology. It's not like people where clamoring to see Mercy, so she was expendable. Besides, what good was it to keep her if by the end of the film Luthor wouldn't have been able to keep her in a payroll. At any rate, Hope (the other assistant) may still appear.

I for one am tired of clumsy/tell-too-many-jokes/catchphrases-for-everything superhero movies of Marvel. In each movie, The Avengers look more and more like the Big Bang Theory guys in their behavior and dialogues, and for me that's unbearable. The only thing missing now is the laughing track behind them. Transformers fell into that hole too in my opinion. I wanted to see a serious movie about superheroes that resembled real life, with a respectable story to follow and some drama like the actual comics and animated series. Maybe they went too far with the "DC insights"(there were so many it was distracting at times), but overall it was a great movie and I can't wait to see what's next in DC. No more Marvel movies with "sitcom TV show" dialogues for me. Because of this, BvS in my book is the MOVIE OF THE YEAR.

A couple more actually. When batman is going off to save Superman's mom when he breaks through the wall to attack the thug holding the machine gun, that's a scene from The Dark Knight Returns as well, and it continues when KG Beast is telling batman "i'll kill her. i swear i will" and Batman replies with "I believe you" , thats from The Dark Knight Returns too except instead of Superman's mom its a little boy and instead of being blown up the thug just gets shot in the hand. Also when Batman is being attacked by doomsday and shoots the grappling hook to the building right when the lightning strikes that little shot is from the cover from the dark knight returns part 1. FINALLY when Superman is hit with the nuke in space and Superman's all bone and skin thats from The Dark Knight Returns when Superman tries to save the state Corto Maltese in the book.

UchihaDualStorm Honestly, one of my all time favorite superheroes is Spider-Man. Not just because of his personality but because it really captured the plight and responsibilities of being a superhero. And how he deals with it. But in many ways he's a kid, so watching Superman go through it is a different feel. In this movie with Superman, I really.. REALLY felt for him. His pain, his mistakes, his responsibilities, the world's reaction to him, how it effected him and how he tried to go about it and I really leveled with the guy. This isn't the Superman that is perfect in every way, can do no wrong and 'has' to be right. Different kind of Superman but more in touch with his humanity, and truly trying to do the right things. It's that 'human' side of Superman that you really feel the weight of what Superman carries, and understand exactly what it takes to BE Superman, even with all that power. It became less about how "omg amazing" his powers were, but more about how he wanted to go about using them, when he used them, and more important when he didn't..and it tore him apart because he 'should' have. It's the kind of arc that can truly make you appreciate all it takes to be Superman and you want to see him figure it out, and the mountain scene got to me. It was beautiful. In general, I think Henry Cavil's interpretation of Superman is my favorite Superman interpretation. He has the aspects of the Pre-Crisis Superman that I appreciated and ones of the Smallville Superman I felt was very 'humane' and yet he wasn't an over the top emo like New52 Superman became. He was the perfect blend and I would and will always root for THIS Superman. BatmanvSuperman finally made me a fan.

carrastealth Thanks for the answer. I've always had a hard time caring about superman since he is so super. Nothing can hurt him and he is so righteous and that made him boring to me (Spidey one of my favorites too). Except well we see all the emotional things that hurt us seem to hurt him too. And i loved the way he acted in the congress scene after you know what just happened. PS:In the cinema i went to the bathroom when the mountain scene started and i missed it. It is good I've seen it on my second go since it was a very, very important scene to understand superman in the future. This movie was very good no matter what the critics say.

Interesting piece of information the comics got wrong. A pearl necklace (real pearls) are knotted between each pearl in such a way that should you break a pearl necklace at best two pearls would fall off. The image of a shower of pearls from the broken necklace would indicate that the pearls were fake or that the comic artist didn't know anything about real pearl necklaces.

Alot of people didnt like this movie but i absolutely loved it. Yeah Bruce's dreams were a little off topic and weird, Batman did practically change his entire mind by not killing Superman just when he mentioned their mothers have the same name, and i reaally dont get why the crippled guy is so mad at Bruce. Like how was an alien attack Bruces fault? Like the guy denied all his checks and started writing twisted dark things on them like You Let your Family DIE, like wtf that had nothing to do with Batman.

+Brody N. He didn't just decide not to kill Superman becuase their mothers have the same name. The name of his mother snapped him out of his anger, while also bringing a "god" into a more human light for Batman. Batman's whole life is formed around his parents. He wasn't just like " Bro, Martha? Me too pal!" Rather he fell out of his Lex induced rage at Superman to go back to what Batman does, fight true criminals to save innocent lives. I see it as a wake up call rather than simple bonding.

The scene that first introduces Batman (in full costume) in the movies happens in a warehouse (or house of some sort) with the address number 1939, which is the year that Detective Comics #27 (Batman's first appearance) was released in. Similar to the reference to 1938. And seriously, you ignored the recreation of Dark Knight Returns' cover when Bat's evading Doomsday in lieu of mentioning the armor and the way the pearls fall around? Ok, then. That's one I expected to be on the list.
