The truth is some of us are just okay being single and if along the way we find someone, great. Just recently, someone I’ve known for 6 years, we decided to start dating. Well, one night she calls me… drunk, and starts asking me to come over. She admitted to me she occasionally sleeps with a friend of hers but wants to date me. She even used this guy against me when I refused to go to her house. She said “I’ll just go to Braden’s house” I didn’t bite. I told her “okay. If you feel you need to”. Anyway skip ahead, I stopped perusing her because I refuse to compete. She seems like that’s what she wants. I won’t do it. So I stopped talking to her. A few days go by and she texts me, “I miss talking to you”. I’ve given up though. Once I have, I usually don’t go back.

After my ex left me for someone else in 2019, it took me several months to find myself. However, I got sick in the same year. After my surgery, no matter how much I had my family and friends, I was still emotional. Yes, I thought about her, but they way she didn't care what I went through opened my eyes. It took me 2 years to officially accept things and to start dating. Once that happened, I felt like more doors opened. Yes, I dated a couple of girls and messed around. Many of my family and friends ask, "When are you going to have a g.f?" Well, instead of asking me that, why don't you ask, how am I or are you happy? I've been traveling, going to baseball games by myself, and enjoying life. My mentality is, whatever happens, happens. I'm not alone, I'm at peace.

Let's be real, in this age of feminism and toxicity, the majority of women aren't worth it. I prefer exercising daily, researching my goals, and working towards a better future ( better job, better place to live, paying debts, etc ) than wasting time on dates and talking to women. I would love to be in a relationship, but better to be alone than with the wrong person, I don't have time for this anymore. Turning 30 in 2 months and single for the past 10 months. I have a lot of personality flaws that are the result of past trauma, some of it during childhood. I like to spend a lot of money for myself that's one of the reasons why I'm single and I like it that way and yeah I agree with with hygiene and taking care of yourself you don't have to go to a gym to get exercise and pump iron to build muscle just find an open outdoor space where you can exercise where there's not much distractions where other people also go to exercise. My Health condition has changed 2 years ago. I choose to stay single even if I'm hit by some ladies. Even if my "girl"friends tells me its up to the woman to decide if she wants to be with me once I tell her about my health issues, I feel like a burden alone.
