I agree with most of these: don’t smoke, keep exercising, have a good diet, moderate alcohol consumption, take care of your skin, no boat shoes (never liked those), personal grooming, etc., but I refuse to buy anything from collars and co. Way to much money for a golf shirt. This isn’t because I do not spend money on my cloths or work on my presentation, it is because the products are over priced for what they are. The collar simply isn’t worth it. Wear a custom dress shirt for the same or near the same price. And on a personal note, I do shop at Brooks Brothers and wear pleated trousers (often made for me). Why? BECAUSE I’M F’N OLD and am proud of it. There are those of us who enjoy the separation from the less experienced. Enjoyed the video though. Mr. Marino I wish you continued success.

As kids, my sister and I once asked my dad why he didn't grow a beard. He said, "I don't want to grow a beard, beards make you look old! I don't want to look old!" and that has stuck with me my entire life. I'm always clean shaven and when I see guys with beards, my brain registers them as older than they are. Often people younger than me will feel to me as if they are older than I am. This guy seems older than me. I will say one thing about beards, they are really good for hiding imperfections, if you have a weak chin or don't have a strong steel jawline, or if you have a lot of waddle under your chin or acne scars, you can just cover it all up with a beard and reshape your face. I see it as the man's version of the layers of makeup women plaster on their faces to 'even out' their skin and pretty much completely change what they look like.

Let's see, I don't exercise all the time, I don't eat right all the time, I have gray hair and my facial hair is white, I don't dress like Alphy here, and even though I'm 53 years of age, people have told me I look much younger than I am. I guess it's because of genetics. Now Aaron here looks like a man in his late forties. Not saying that as an insult or anything, but to me, no matter what he does, or how he dresses, he looks like a man in his late forties. I am hoping to work on it some here and there before I retire. It would be nice to get the body done before I retire, while I have a good income. That is the most expensive part. The rest of the work I can do. My wife looks after her 85 year old uncle, so when she no longer needs to do that I will retire, we'll sell our house, and relocate to a better location for us, and a smaller house, with less to take care of. staying up all night to party probables ages you faster than anything. Add smoking to that mix, game over dude. I remember some of the party kings of my high school, they were already bloated up and started to have thinning hair at graduation. I ran into some of them 15 years later, they were already old men.

The first thing that makes a 50 year old man look old is a pair of earrings. The second thing that makes a man look old is shouting at men you to look "young and sexy." The third thing that makes a man look old is to have misplaced confidence in his life choices, style, and in how much someone wants to be yelled at.

Two things: 1) Sunscreen will age your skin, so only wear it if you're likely to spend too much time in the sun--it's a compromise, not a way to stay "looking young." 2) Calves are not genetically determined size wise, only the shape they form. My current job has me running up and down stairs for half the day and my calves look way better than when I actually worked them in the gym. If you want bigger calves, find an apartment block that you're allowed in and just jog up and down the stairwells for maybe 6-7 hours a week.

I really don’t think anyone should care about looking young or looking old. I gravitate towards people who are authentic. If you are so worried about looking younger than your age, you have clearly not faced the inevitable reality of death.

Disagree on the younger woman theory. After getting divorced at 40, with no kids, I didn't want someone else's kids nor did I want the multiple health risks that come with trying to conceive with a woman the same age as me. I remarried at 42, and now at 52 have a happy family with a 5 year old daughter and a 33 year old wife. No complaints.

Another thing that makes you look old is the neck/throat and the front area leading down to your chest if you either excersize or strain yourself by yelling until it gets all red, wrinkly and full of veins. It's easy to notice when some celebrities use make-up or get sun tanned and try to make their face look young, but then you see the neck/throat area under their unbuttoned shirt. Usually a lot more wrinkled, often more red than the face and full of veins etc. Often people who gym a lot, the surface of their skin in their throat/neck region looks almost like the skin of an orange. No idea as to why it becomes that way, but that makes them look prematurely old. Some celebrities try to hide their neck/throats looking old by using scarfs, both men and women, but that's a dead give away as well. Same with hands. Especially on women. You can't exactly cover an old wrinkly and veiny hand with make-up. Wearing rings (men and women), or having long painted nails (women) only draws even more attention to your hands, which is not good if they look old and you want to look young. Unless of course you are comfortable with aging and looking old, which is probably the best way to live your life in the first place. Then we have the weird thing many women do to their eyebrowses. They have natural eye browses, but for some reason pick them until they are gone, then paint on-, or even tattoo on- fake eyebrowses which just looks weird. Almost like painting some egyptian mummy or something. It can make even a 20 year old (young) women look like 40-50 or even older.

I'm 47 and have gray beard, hair on the side of my head and getting bold on top of my head. So I cut all my hear and try to keep my beard in shape. I smoke and drink beer once in a while, have had the same weight, about 120kgs with my 189cm of height for at least the last 10 years. We live only once, right? And still they think I'm 40 or sometimes even less. Long story short- just be yourself, there's always somebody who likes You as You really are. Or what was the point of that video?
