You are great in your explanations. Water lily is nénuphar in french. But I prefer lotus. The main diff are the leaves. 👍

U said water lily comes in many diff colour N Lotus only red pink white Then in hindu mythology what we call Neelkamal means blue lotus is not there At all Or its waterlily i.e. neelkumudini??? Is neel kamal rare n now extinct or just fictitious like pari or murmaid?
