Gorgeous Claire. I also usually get my valspar from B&Q, but yesterday they told me, they no longer sell it raw without mixing it 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m now going to have to look elsewhere 🤦🏽‍♀️

Hi Claire I love your work. Can i ask which resin do you use and do you have any issues with it being cold in England. The resin I have bought says it needs 21 to 24 degrees to dry properly! 😐

Absolutely beautiful Claire, that gold really pops against the black. I've been trying to pour a bloom but I just can't get it and as a disabled person I can't justify the cost of ordering the Australian Floetrol. Do you have a mix that doesn't include Floetrol and works?

Thank you. Yes it costs me £24 for the Aussie floetrol but that does include shipping. You can use Amsterdam titanium white and water and get cells but only if you do something on a small scale as when you start to stretch too much the cell structure starts to falls apart. A coaster would be fine.

Hi Claire it's that annoying woman again ;) Can I ask a bit more about Bindex, could you say what consistency it is and if I can't get hold of any Bindex (which is looking pretty likely) what properties it has so i know what to look for to find an alternative. I got some X2 paints and absolutely love the colours so thanks for putting me onto those.

By using glossy paint do you not need to varnish / resin? It’s beautiful, love the colours

Catherine Ballinger Hi thank you. You don’t need to but I do as it makes the colours pop so will resin this piece as done on wood if it was canvas then I would use a spray varnish x
