Susan Webb you can still have hormonal issues with your skin. I eat healthy most of the time and drink at least 3 liters water a day and still get hormonal breakouts.. if you, or someone else, have any tips for this please let me know :)

THIS IS JUST MY POINT OF VIEW: I think these tips or tricks are purely based on vanity, there's so much more to what makes someone attractive... How about being dedicated? Fighting for your dreams? Being faithful? Having a great relationship with your family? Having a great personality? Being positive? Feeling secure about yourself not because of how you look but because of who you are as a person? Eating healthy? Honestly... life and what people think of you isn't based purely on how you look, what you wear, what you do. You should take a reality check, cause honestly this type of perspective on "what makes you more attractive" is exactly what leads to thousands of girls feeling insecure about themselves because they don't fit on the "scheme" on being perfect. I feel like you're trying to sell the attitude of a housewife from the 50s, and honestly there's so much more women can do today! I mean, for god's sake it's a challenge for women not to cuss or to know what to wear; a challenge for women is not getting paid the same as men, is walking down the street and knowing you'll probably get harassed, is feeling insecure about being alone at night in the street, is not having the same access to education and health, is not being able to lead a company because we are women, is not having the enough representation in the government.... It makes me mad that these type of videos lead little girls to think purely on how they look, how others think of them, what they should do to look better, instead of making them realize that there's so much more to them than their looks and the opinion of others. Just something maybe you should think about.
@Jess.getting.started
@Jess.getting.started 6 жыл бұрын
I agree. I love her videos but some tips are based on looks. Most individuals base their opinions on others on how they treat others, how they live their life, etc. I don't base my friendships or relationships on these tips but rather how they treat others, themselves and a lot of the things you state. I love her videos and these are good tips but I wouldn't use attractive, I would say appear more or great habits to help lead a more positive...

Wow Nyomi, i have only seen like 3 or 4 of your videos and im already hooked on u. I have only subscribed to about 3 channels this entire year and u are one of them bc i only subscribe to ppl who i feel could be a kind of role model for me. I admire ur elegance, the positivity u promote, the ideas u give me (weather fashion or otherwise), I'm enjoying the fact that u are on youtube. Keep being you, i love it. --Lisa

I am honestly sorry that I am leaving this critique specifically in your channel but I would like for you and other KZbinrs to stop alienating people that are "negative" or have "bad vibes". People aren't black and white. People aren't trying to be "negative" millions of people in the world suffer from all types of mental illness because most of them had major life events or genetic predispositions to had those "bad vibes". Other people just have periods of their life where they are feeling depressed. Does that mean we shouldn't talk to them only because of that? Have you never experienced any negative thoughts. Don't you from time to time think about what other people think about you? Have you never been insecure about yourself?? I would like for KZbinrs, especially fashion KZbinrs to stop throwing shame into people that have "negative vibes". Who are you to judge? You are not them, you haven't gone through their experiences in life. That only promotes stigma and discrimination.
@HeyItsDom7
@HeyItsDom7 6 жыл бұрын
I don't think she's promoting discrimination. While she didn't delineate the difference between someone with a mental health issue and an overall negative person, I think we all understand the difference. There are toxic people in this world, and all of us have the free-will to choose to not have those kinds of people in our lives. I believe it's good to have healthy boundaries. That doesn't mean you're ugly or rude to someone who is toxic or perpetually negative, but you just don't have to let them into your life.

I actually thought these are all great tips! Great planners like the fly lady! Advice you to plan your outfits, wash face, exercise. I love the idea of the picture outfits I’m running with that one! Times have change! Cell phones and computers can take us away from the real things that are important I agree with you 100 percent see it all time! Also agree is so unattractive to see a woman cuss! Is a work in progress! Each woman needs to find a motivation, what you put in is what comes out! Just something to remember! Clean water doesn’t come out of dirty water! I actually enjoyed these tips thanks!

I agree with the no cussing thing, although I am also definitely guilty of dropping the F bomb every once in a while (like the other day when I was wearing a headband with those little teeth and bumped my head HARD so it jabbed into my skull lol). But blurting out "F this, F that, I went to the market and bought some F'ing chicken" etc in your everyday vocabulary is not cute!

Definitely my biggest downfall! I work in hospitality, and with my last job being in a kitchen where I was both the youngest and the only girl, it's worked it's way into my every day language. Now, particularly being a mum of a 1 year old learning new words all the time, I need to break that habit and tone it down haha

That is just such a sexist thing plus even when you know that we do have those desperate times and urges where you cannot stop yourself ,so let's try to make an effort and get over this stupid stereotypical norm for women. That would be much more useful
