I personally still love all of Lamb of Gods' albums lmao. Easily one of the best bands to look at when you want just massive, intense riffs. I feel like any band that channels that southern metal (Pantera) vibe can just riff for days. Every Time I Die is another great example of a band like that too
@justinmulligan27654 жыл бұрын

As for chris adler going to megadeth im still pissed he combined my two favorite bands and now he isnt in either of them. Never welcome back to lamb of god. Keep up the good work bro wish i had stuck with the guitar when i was younger. Havent seen you play on a Dean or a B.C. Rich yet though. Always wanted to try a banjo with distortion lol. Awesome video....but something is bugging me and has been for years. Every youtuber plays laid to rest wrong. Main riff second half, the hammer on little bit goes 4-5-4 (d string) to 6 (not 5) on A string, except for the very first time the riff is played. The rest of the song it goes to 6 on the A string. People need to know this. Even jamplay got it wrong.

You confirmed to me that you can literally play any metal riff ever wrote.. if you can play lamb of god and make it all look that damn easy you can play anything.. I’m trying and trying to play that well.. I’ve played off and on for 11 years.. this last year I play every single day.. at least 2 or 3 hours a day and have improved so much it shocks me even.. I can play a few of these but laid to rest is killing me.. I can play every note properly I just can not get it to proper tempo.. it’s tough.. how long have you been playing? I really wanna know.I can tell your rather young.. and can’t think of anything in terms of metal riffs you couldn’t play.. if life hadn’t threw me so many curveballs that hit me in the face maybe I would be that good.

Ashes had about 6 awesome songs in my opinion off which two (Hourglass and The Faded Line) are 2 of there BEST songs BUT...na. Not having it, As The Palaces Burn from track 1 to 10 is PURE killer...and there most brutal album to date, Ashes was the last heavy album they done...everything since then has just but southern heavy rock/metal...which started to creep in to Ashes...which was there first well produced album...which started a world class sound and recorded sound for them...but Palaces was this horribly recorded compressed gritty peice of shit that captured AMAZING performances and heavy as fuck songs.
