Nice video. I have gone from Xterra to Equinox, but find the numbers Fluctuations a lot compared to the Xterra that just sat on the one tonne number. Is this normal cheers

Alright mate just subscribed, have you made your mind up yet on the equinox or Excalibur I’m torn on which one to buy if you could have only one what would it be? will be just hunting beaches enjoy your videos Thanks
@RustyRecovery6 жыл бұрын
Hi mate. If you are doing beach detecting and shallow water I would choose the Equinox. It is way more versatile. It has a great recovery speed which means it can pick good targets up amongst the iron trash on the beach. I personally wouldn't go for the 800 for beach only detecting. The 600 has less features ( gold prospecting mode ) for one, but still uses the full range of frequencies simultaneously which is ideal for beach detecting. I would go for the 600 and use the money I saved to but a pair of waterproof headphones. Start off with stock beach programs. drop the iron bias to 2 and recovery to 5. Good luck. Jason

Pom Z Thanks mate. I video every signal and every dig just for moments like that. Live digs are the best. It certainly had me shocked. I nearly gave up and left it after so many scoops. Lesson learned. Thanks for watching. Jason

campen777 Hi. It's a cut down marine boat hook. I was given them by a friend. I'm actually on the second and last one as they do eventually break. Cheers. Jason.

Kenneth Holland Hi. It's a cut down marine boat hook. I was given two by a friend and I'm on the last one as they do eventually break. I think the diameter is 38mm which suits my scoop. I'll get carbon fibre next time. Jason.

NC_Rainman It was very erratic jumping between 3 and 13. This beach does have very grey / black mineralised sand though. Thanks Jason.

paul smith Hi. I started off with a Deus when they first came out as I used to detect land only. Then I discovered beach detecting which is my real passion. The Equinox is a very good machine although like The shaft wobbles. I'll get an Anderson carbon one as soon as they are available in the UK. Thanks for watching. Jason.
