This channel is like watching a slice of life anime about average dude herpetology, and that's why it's endlessly entertaining.

I flipped exactly 2 snakes this year. My lifer Scarletsnake and a ringneck snake. I don't have any tin and only natural logs because there aren't any rocks in Florida...

Wingsandbeaks here ~ I’ve been watching birds for 45 years and trying to avoid anything on the ground. Now, I’d rather watch your herping videos. You have changed my life. 3:43

I've been a fan since December 2021, and I can't believe you've gained over 100k subscribers in just a year. Amazing to see that 150% sub count since then. I started herping in October 2021, and your videos are so damn inspiring, fascinating and entertaining. Always looking forward to more. Your snake wisdom and smarts have helped me in my own herping. My dad and I watch your videos all the time. Have a nice new year NKF and everyone else. :)

I am never flipping a piece of garbage in the wild. I love snakes but don’t know how to properly handle them. I will let them have their little homes under garbage. I love this channel and I am so happy for all you and your herp group do for nature. I hope to find some snakes in my property. They will keep the mice down. I never use chemicals as we are avid bee keepers. I would love to have a resident snake or two around.

Ok I have just one serious question. I've been watching you for years now, and you've always left me wondering.... Where the hell do you find all these laid back milk snakes? I've been Herping in one form or another for 40 years now. So I've seen my share of milk snakes, matter of fact the first snake I ever found was a milk. I was 5 at the time. But that and every other milk I've come across have been the most defensive snakes. I grew up in the north east so idk if just differences in natural predators or specific changes in terrain could make that big of a difference. Anyways just something that's left me guessing for quite a while so figured I'd try to spark a conversation on the subject. Merry Christmas 🎅

I would have just grabbed the snake at 1:22 as soon as I saw it, I 100% thought it was just a water snake until they picked up the board. It wouldn’t have gone all too well…
