If you're a fan of old Hitman give Death to Spies and DtS Moment of Truth a go, they play similarly to Hitman 2+3, but you play as a Russian agent in WW2, it's the only other game I've seen use the hitman disguise system

Aren't they remaking blood money or contracts? I could've sworn one of those is getting a remake. Which in my mind means if it sells well they will remake all of the original hitman games since their new trilogy wrapped up. They could use the remakes as a buffer while a team works on the next title

Agreed but I think blacklist is one of if not the only splinter cell game that to date holds up gameplay wise and mechanically Not that the others are bad. I love them. Grew up with them. But it's like Witcher 1 vs witcher 3. It is very hard to go back to the first cause of the gameplay and combat. It's dated. I think it should always be studied as splinter cell revolutionized stealth games. But I think this list is geared more toward games that still hold up gameplay wise to current games. Also metal gear. The older ones are fun. But I'd imagine for anyone who didn't grew up on them well then they can feel pretty dated and odd to play. I love them but my younger sister could not stand playing them Again I love the old games I grew up on. Just most don't hold up anymore

​@@Stealthybat39chaos theory is fun but I don't think it is for anyone or most who didn't grow up with it For instance I use to have a roommates 8 years younger than me. He grew up on the PS3 era and I in the 0S1 and PS2 era. He and a few other friends don't like a lot of older games. They can stand tho games like AC2, Blacklist, original red dead redemption, etc cause they are better to play mechanically and are closer to what modern games are capable of. Another example is witcher 1. I loved it as a kid. I met a girl from Poland who never played them but wanted to. So we were gonna play the first one together. Mannnnn I hated it. She did to. It is a slog to play through and doesn't hold up in any way other than the story. I haven't played chaos theory myself in about 3 years. Might have to revisit it to see if I still can't play through it

I'd say yes but for a new stealth gamers its better blacklist like blacklist is a fast pased stealth game. Chaos theory needs a theory so you need to actually think while playing its or you can say "hard"

i did not play ghost of Tsushima like a stealth game unless i was forced with a game over screen, I play tjhe game like samurai like it is "meant" to be played? i love the game so im conflicted, but clearly sucker punch should have just made a ninja game cause ninjas are "cooler" apparently? at every turn they push the player to go into the direction of ninja as best they could without forcing too often and i was like ummmm nope. one of the best SAMURAI games is Bushido Blade and that was on PS 1!!!!

I mean I would argue and say they were stealth focused, but the enemy AI was so easy to kill that stealth wasn't even that important. So it was really just a hack and slash game.

Only Ac Brotherhood gives stealth opportunities out of three games. But story-wise AC 2 is better but ac2 's stealth is the worst
